Homeward Bound Trajectory (Skiing In Blue Mix)

I've always loved 'Blueski,' by Underworld (off their 'Second Toughest In The Infants' album). When I was thinking of remixes to do for HBT, I was thinking of doing a guitar-based version and immediately Blueski came to mind.
It took a lot of tries to find something that worked. I sat down multiple times and played along with the original. I even came up with a nice arpeggiated chord progression that required alternate tuning the top two strings of my guitar in order to make it playable. But ultimately it didn't sound anything like what I was going for, which was the grittier, more riff-based line like 'Blueski'.
After a few hours of trying different effects and sounds and styles of play, I finally hit upon this riff. I really love how this turned out, with a huge thanks to Underworld for pioneering the way 30 years ago!
