Best method at the breakwater is using a large sea float with a 6/7 ‘ cast weighed down with a few shot, about 10 feet out from the rocks. Lots of wrasse and codling. Either side of low tide used to be the most productive for myself.
You will get played with crab there that is why there are crab pots there they pots have been getting put down there for the last 50pluse years I know of nice to see you are still going out to make videos
Thank you for your comment, all appreciated. You're correct with the crabs, but there is also fish there. I caught 3 species there and the owner from Loch Gelly tackle shop goes there nearly every Sunday. He saw 4lbs plus coddling coming out. Maybe you can suggest another spot to try.
