The James Webb Space Telescope highlights the two arms of NGC 2090 which spiral around the central area with the presence of vortices of gas and dust that create a unique design. At the end of the 1990s, thanks to Cepheids, it was possible to determine that this galaxy was located approximately 37 million light years away, but with subsequent calculations the distance was corrected to the current 40 million light years
