NGC 7793, is a spiral galaxy located almost 13 million light years from us in the direction of the constellation Sculptor, which passes rather low on the southern horizon on these October evenings. Visible as long as you use a decent telescope, NGC 7793 is one of the brightest galaxies in the Sculptor Group, a cluster of galaxies closest to the Local Group to which our galaxy belongs.
