Paghman Palace Afghanistan 2023.
This was at the beginning of my trip when i randomly met 2 other tourists and we went to the Presidential palace in Paghman and the first time i had been in this area, this was the tour guide we used a few times but stopped ( cant say more than that )...
when we walked up to the palace it was surrounded by thousands of what i was told were covid beds! i think perhaps they are gone now... the guide thought we were at a different palace and it all got a bit confusing..but this was the Presidential Palace. an empty building , beautiful grounds and so peaceful. I had to google more on the history of te place, but im sure most of you know more than me lol ...

What make you different with other vloggers who visited Afghanistan is that you have come to each Afghan people's hearts personally by person, great them, and have a little chat with them just to ask how they are doing, what they do, how the feel, laugh with them, and other random easy conversations. And you constantly make good friends with them. You have shown us how humble, innocent, and friendly they are. I don't understand why the outsider forcess had occopied this beuatiful nations for decades. And now they had left by Allah's permit and help, we hope that the Islamic Emirate can rebuild this country well and the Afghani people have better future insyaAllah. As an Indonesian, I feel that half of Emma's heart is in Afghanistan... 😽💝😻

I wish your guide could have done a little research before going somewhere. This palace is not a new palace, it was renovated recently because it was ruined during wars. It's palace of King Amanullah, the same guy who got independence of the country in 1919.
That's another palace in Kabul. This one is in Paghman and was built in recent years.

This palace you went to is called Qasre Paghman which translates to Pagham Palace because the area is called Paghman and the current presedential palace is actually in the city and is called Arg

This Palace Was Indeed 120 Years Old But It Was Destroyed in The Civil War During The 90s But Was Rebuilt By Former President Hamid Karzai it Was Not Fully Destroyed But Parts Of It Were Destroyed

Concure of Afghanisan was not related to ottman, we Afghans lose the India then British tried to by abusing corrupt government of Shah Shoja to have control over Afghanistan
British controlled much of afghanistan and took over Peshawar and Quetta from Afghans thfr they didvided the Afghan country. Dont exaggerate as the British succeded in controlling Afghan foreign policy and onlu in 1919 King Amanullah succeeded in getting control back. Pashtun like to exaggerate as they are illiterate and know nothing.

The arts which are in there are not for sale, those are paintings which are painted by Afghans and are sold in exhibitions and the prices are still on the paitings does not mean it is for sale, it is just the price they were sold for in the exhibitions.

The translation for people who are sitting the tto help people with their written statements is scriban. They help prople with their complaints, or any official written statements presented. This is because some people eithe cant write of ate not familiar with the legal language.

Nobody told me to do that but I have spent a lot of time in Peshawar for example and I always respect the local culture, I always wore a hijab , the Taliban in question here was a young teenager that told me to cover my face , that is not a traditional thing and many women don’t cover their faces , it was nothing to do with my hair , I know about that ..

It seems to me the economy and officialdom are all non Pashtun there. Seems like Pashtun are only in Taleban and religion and do nothing much except talk abt Arab culture and traditions. They dont really develop their own culture,language and singing and arts . The Tajik, Uzbek and Hazara at least are more alive. Pashtun are the living dead .

If you look at earlier vlogs you will see that I met women and even went out and met them the following day 🤷♀️ look back before making judgements, and most women don’t want to be on camera! Not just Afghanistan, but I found some that we’re willing to be on camera ! I met many many off camera , we picked up women hitchhiking several times also … so don’t judge after one vlog

I work with NGOS there(haven't been back since pre Taliban return) but operate now outside of there. It's not rosy for women there and so I hope you will portray that in future videos.
