Look at it this way, as of February Tucker pulled in nearly 3.5 million viewers a night. Although he led in the 25-54 demographics for cable, that amounted to only 490k viewers, meaning 85% of his viewers were 55+. Most of his influence was reaching old folks.
Mainstream media is dying because younger generations aren't interested. But that 55+ demo isn't going to leave their mainstream outlets to follow a former pundit en masse to some other obscure site or podcast. He'll bring some with him, but look at what happened with Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly, who had cable's most watched shows in Tucker's time slot previously, after they left Fox.
So both statements can absolutely be true.
She is biased and has a personal problem with him just like so many out there for no particular reason, other than "he is a racist". She also underestimates his influence and reach. Sagar could learn a thing or two from Tucker.

I work in an industry that caters specifically to people aged 50 and over. MANY if not a full on majority of the people I see, don't even have email accounts.
