I would disagree with Krystal there. Showing such footage isn't a provocation, but rather an attempt by the Lebanese to deter Israel from further escalation. If they really want a war, they'd keep such footage a secret.

Krystal’s complete nativity and lack of military technologies and strategies never ceases to amaze me.
Much like the Chinese balloon, there are benefits to allowing surveillance platforms to travel in impeded- most notably to obtain info on the drones capabilities, performance, electronic signatures, radar profile, etc. It’s entirely possible this drone provides basically the same info available from commercial imaging satellite- in which case why waste tens of thousands on a missile and risk shrapnel and falling debris damage.
Krystal also needs to recognize just because HEZ has developed a long range surveillance front by should by no means assume they also possess a long range armed drone- at least more than a grenade or two. Carrying a weapon capable of significant damage, ie hundreds of pounds of explosives is a much different level of development.
Sure, it’s possible the IDF the missed drone- but it’s unlikely due to the drone’s superior tech. In this scenario more than likely the drone flew so slow (which aids in efficiency/:range) that the IDF radar was configured to filter out that slow of objects- this happened in SA with early development Patriot, many of Russia’s air defense systems early in the war were not calibrated for low, slow drone.
The IDF as far as I can find ok never stated caught off guard and reports stating this seems to be editorial Speculation.

Let's be honest here. Getting a one-foot drone into an area past radar to take video is FAR different than getting a missile into that same area. That drone is about 200 feet above this harbor, so they can't hear it on the ground. The range on that drone from the operator is maybe 400 feet?

Ukraine is similarly able to get small drones into Russian territory with relative ease. To me this is simply more evidence that small drones are very difficult to defend against. Their radar cross-sections are so small that radar can't distinguish them from birds.
Haifa is 50 km away from Lebanon's border. A small drone's range is a tenth of that distance.
