Hi Mike and Ginger, it's Mick in the UK. Emily was only thirteen years old when she recorded this. She has now achieved over ONE MILLION views of this song on her RUclips channel. Thank you for reacting to Emily's cover of The Winner Takes It All and your kind comments. They don't come any better. Take care, kind regards, Mick.

Wow. Her rendition is so quiet. She really sells the song. She sounds so tired like she’s been through hell. Credit goes to a heartbreaking song, but the performance is superb. I’m crying all over again. Good one!

Emily takes it all! And she'snot just singing, she's telling a story too. Congratulations on 100K subs!

Thank you for the reaction. Emily was 13 when she did this and although the lyrics say " no self confidence " I don't believe that is an issue for our Emily. She continually takes on giants and delivers. Don't worry about where to go next this hard working teenager produces gems like this every single week. Brad mentions her 2 new originals To Be Your Date takes us back to that horrible place called highschool and trying to navigate through young love and End Of The Dream gives a different visual and sound than we have seen from Miss Linge both written from the perspective of someone her age as opposed to a lot of her covers. p.s. I think the way you let songs play through is genius for a reaction channel .

Great review you two. I just sent you an email yesterday and mentioned that she had published two new originals. She has such a wonderful vibrato as you said G, and it's one of the two things that immediately attracted me to her voice, the other being her gorgeous lower register. Thanks for making my day start so beautifully. I'm just on my first cup of coffee!🫶🌹👏👏

@@patsmith8035 I have loved Em from the first time I heard her, back when she was barely 12. I heard that natural vibrato and her lower register, and she wasn't even through the first verse of the first song when she became my favorite singer. Considering that until that moment, for half a century my favorite singer was Karen Carpenter, and I never thought anyone could ever replace her as my favorite, for Em to steal that crown in a couple of lines truly says something about her voice. She has a beautiful personality as well, and the soul of an old poet. Pat, go back and listen to a few of her older songs, and you'll truly appreciate her voice as it is now, when you hear it back then. Check out Sting's 'Fields Of Gold', or 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' from 1969. Just an amazing talent. I saw a performance she did when she was 9 of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', and I swear, she gave Judy Garland a good run for the money.

Dammit, all these years I thought the words were "The gods make rum with ice".
I just went to listen to the original, and you know what? Emily enunciates far better than Agnetha, because I _still_ hear Agnetha singing "rum with ice".
