during camp, he practiced kicks around 70 yds a few times. Regularly sent kickoffs through the uprights too lol
His longest in camp was 72 yards and had a good 4 to 5 yards of room to spare.
That kicker, if he keeps going like that, is going to be something special. A special teams player like that you just don't see every day.

That was one of the best kicks I have ever seen, he kicked a curve ball. If he would have kicked it straight, they probably would have blocked it. What an amazing game to start the year off!

I would have liked to see your kicker make that kick with the additional 15 yards they were given for the fictitious roughing the passer call. He may have made it and set a new field goal record. But we will never know.

This was the Baker Mayfield experience from last year. He would start the game pretty slowly, often having some of his shittiest moments sprinkled throughout the game, then he starts getting into a rhythm, makes 1-2 amazing passes all for it to be short.

If the magnets were powerful enough to alter the flight of the balls, especially from those distances, they’d all go straight to the goal posts as soon as the ball gets near it. Also, please prove to me it was these magnets and not the wind, ball spin, and laces weren’t the reason for the ball’s curve at that time.
Turned out to be one of the better games of the day. CLE showed some toughness on the road. Kudos out to Baker for not giving up. Congrats on the win CLE 💪.

Having grown up in the 70s and 80s, the place kickers have gotten so much better over the years. A 58 yarder was usually an unanswered prayer, even for the best kickers, in the old days.

Hunt lining up as the blocker for Chubb & going right for an easy TD! That was an excellent play call. It's hard to defend, because the defense thinks he's in there to block. It was too easy. It was great to FINALLY see Chubb & Hunt on the field together on a lot of plays. That's what we've been waiting for.

Come on now...was totally browns. Running ball and destroying defense in first 3 quarters but screw up in 4th quarter. Lucky we drafted an amazing kicker or we would have lost this game. Defense should not b this bad when mostly everyone returned. Leaving it wide open for a wide open throw to Anderson is so unacceptable.

As long as Brisset can play mostly mistake free which he is known to do, the Browns can win many games this year.

Problem is the defense. If they play like today and like the first half of 2021 then we r screwed. This is second year with nearly all the same people but they r still struggling. First time I really Watched Chubb. He is one of the smoothest best runners in the league maybe the best in terms of skill- waiting for blocks and having great vision b/c he isn`t the biggest or fastest and is still real effective. I was impressed.

This coaching staff should take most of this blame. We don't look confident or organized. Game plan was not up to par, allowing that many running yards when you knew it was gonna happen is inexcusable. Let's get beat by bombs from brissett this game. Blitzing Jaycee horn at the end? Did you see 98 just standing there on one of those last completions? Not his fault, he's not a db.

Ty NFL for the recap. The game was all about Mayfiled. Despite a huge work from brows Rb, Mayfield put this game on a rollercoaster with his fails and lightnings inspiration. His huge smile before the last drive was like a premonition. Browns putting some tears on this was the right ending after all Baker Drama during the past seasons.
