Thanks for that. Good to be able to get that many runs against a van. They normally from my experience move location quite often. DFR9 held up well imo.
someone in wellington needs to go put some large rocks in that location, quite a cunning spot there mr police tax man i have a R3 and now a R7 for the last 2 years (nearly) been awesome. Yes i travel a bit and speed cameras can be quite tricky, even on long dead straight flat highways it still doesnt go off till your already in the "kill zone" But for normal Ka absolute brilliant, cops are starting to learn however to turn on and off Ka to surprise us
Yep. I have a 50km drive to work and the highway cops are pretty smart on my stretch of road. When the traffic is light they wait until the last second before switching their radar on for each car. When there's a bit more traffic they just leave it running, so I can wind up on passing lanes and when overtaking on straights at least.
Hi mate would you recommend the r7 or r4 for south island nz? Would the US version work ok? Cheers
Picks up really late tho. Is this normal? Like if you're speeding by the time it picks up the van you already have a ticket.
This is normal but usually you can spot them before the radar detector goes off unless they are hidden like this one is.
Redflex is the cash machine for Police. Low detection Waze is the best counter measure

Does the R7 have a remote display option?
No

That will only make them move elsewhere. Better the devil you know in this case. Bring them coffee as well so they can be monitored
