When I saw Xiao ge looking so lost, it brakes my heart. It was painful to watch, the emotion is there and the acting was so astonishing. I was so thankful that they stick to the story line in the novel. And I’m happy for Xiao ge, for having such a grate friends. Iron Triangle is so awesome! 😊

The brain thinks but the heart knows” & XiaoGe will always know WuXie - his heart will remind him. *” If I am lost, my name is Zhang Qiling, please return me to my family at this number”* ;_; who is cutting onions around here. 2) 0:16 WuXie’s behaviour to XiaoGe - only once have I seen such acting that showed their dynamic - that was in Reunion when WuXie held a dying XiaoGe in his arms. WuXie called out his name in a similar way. XiaoGe held his hand, smiled and said it was okay. TLT2 sort of with WuXie running into the ocean & nearly drowning to find XiaoGe. And here again, they nailed it: WuXie’s desperate tone as he calls Zhang Qiling’s full name - I see what the author meant when he said they are like Romeo & Juliet in their own way - bromance or bl. The acting and the chemistry is truly great. 👏🏽 3) @0:02 WuXie and XiaoGe see each other again after a long while - and all he has to do his look into his eyes & ask XiaoGe if he remembers him. I always say you gotta read the books to understand Zhang Qiling ...now you can see it on screen, too. And this is why I love & respect Zhang Qiling so much - he has been through so much in his long life & yet he remains so brave & so courageous. Thank goodness he has WuXie & PangZi in his life now, his family. ❤️ My edits and words will never fully articulate how much I love this character or how grateful I am to this show for showing his story - in their own way.

Reunion was a spin off epilogue drama set 20 years in the future - it’s separate from this one, which is a different production and based off the main books. (Confusing I know but there it is).

Ultimate Note isn’t as confusing it flows better, but still w/o book knowledge it’s tricky. This franchise can be quite niche. Another reason is that two different production companies made these. Reunion was made with the aid of the author’s production company. Ultimate Note is made by the same folks who made TLT1 & TLT2 but the author doesn’t have anything to do with them since TLT1 (he only got the rights back in 2019). I have made a post on the community tab listing all the dramas and the order to watch them (make it less confusing hopefully).
