Wu Xie form SOP is one of my favourite characters ever. Resilient, resourceful, clever (sometimes even ruthless), never gives up and is totally loyal to his friends❤Zhu Yi Long was such a good choice for him. He can portray a strong character that can face any hardship yet show inner vulnerability of Wu Xie who has been through so much over the years. I really really like this character's development 👍.

I have absolutely no clue what is going on since I haven't yet watched any of the Lost Tomb shows or read the book but even I could totally feel the yearning and love in this one and you used a song by G.E.M. (love the whole album BTW). Looks like a seriously beautiful ship. I really have to start watching soonish....arrgh so many shows and not enough time.
You can watch them in any order, but the best one is the lost tomb ultimate note
They’re technically a hidden BL couple, one is immortal and trying to figure out memories they lost. The other is one is from of the 9 mystic families, on a mission to find his missing 3rd uncle. They grew attached to each other, solving mysteries of tombs. Causing the immortal one to attempt to make himself immortal; so he can either die by protecting the other one or he can die with him.
(I know it’s enough time has passed that you probably have watched it, I just want to tell you some things. Didn’t spoil anything that isn’t in the summaries, I’ve watched all of them except for two. They focus on different characters but still have the main characters of the series. The 9 mystic families movies or shows are apart of the prequels. Then one is a prequel to half of the shows.)
@@bluefantasy929 yes but it’s confusing if you don’t start in order, my favorite is Sound of Providence 1 & 2. It has more answers for the disappearance of 3rd uncle. I haven’t watched the “Mystic 9” shows or the “Red Sand”. Mainly because I’m afraid it won’t have the same feel, or having one of the iron triangle and not the others. Or not having the same tomb experience. 😂😅

Both versions are equally enjoyable for me but UN explores the brotherhood of Xiao Ge and Wu Xie much deeper than Sound of Providence (with Zhu Yi Long and Huang JunJie). I would have like to see these 2 having more time together in SoP as I have always been a strong suppoter of ZYL. But I really like both versions.
these two are the only versions I adore, my heart won’t lie with others for some reason, true about UN, but SOP is like twice long, so if u cut it in half there’ll be plenty of moments, still wanted more tho 😂 but it’s not like there’s much in books either 😭 but holy shit the chemistry is incredible, in UN yes yes incredible, but in SOP like when they were looking at each other, I was just asfjkgfkh heart eyes mf 😂🌚

@@nataliamencel7605 Ultimate Note then SOP for sure:) first it chronological, then age fits, but also bc Qiling in UN is more of a Qiling partially from the beginning of their relationships since they even included some of the first book scenes there and they bicker a lot still and he’s more rebely, Qiling in SOP is like already super home-y Qiling 🥰 so it’d be weird for u to watch sop then un if u dont know the characters, but if u watch un then sop, it fits oh so nicely :) they still both helplessly simp for wu xie with most adorable heart eyes ❤️

Being a fan of these two particular series of LT, I could relate to this so much. You made such an amazing video with these scenes and connecting them spotlessly.
However, while I love Reboot, UN always has a special place in my heart due to how deep the expression on Xiaoge's character here . He's sooo 3-D that I could literally feel it when he's hurting for our Tianzhen and when he's hurting all by himself. 🥲 The iron-triangle here, albeit young, gave me the exact picture of how their brotherhood deepen. How UN was portrayed paved the way on how the iron triangle looked like in the future (which is Reboot). They filled the plot holes of friendship foundation for me, so...ahhh am so emotional. 🤣

Seriously, Reboot Pingxie looks so maturely sexy together 😩 and the fact that they don't have that many moments together, just makes the moments they did have more special 😍
their chemistry seriously was something else, they could kill me just by looking at each other, I was like wtf is this, like.. like the scene in the cave.. gdsfhjsah I was like I need a drink 😂 i think ppl are a bit mistaken that they don’t have a lot of moments there, bc they do, it’s just spread in time (which was torturing at times, but the pining in the middle was also great 😌), but also it’s THE quality over quantity 🌚🥰
Im also quite used to Chinese BL couples to be separated from 8 to 10000 years, so I’m at the point where Im agressively mad about it at first but then go like.. oh freak but it kinda does make the reunion even sweeter 😂 damn it 😒

Zhu Yilong version has same feeling with Shunxi version when they saw Xiaoge. Both of them see their xiaoge like a baby despite the cruel & harsh condition. The pure happiness and undying care for xiaoge is so clear.

The best lost tomb so far is Ultimate note,but explore with the note 1 and 2 were amazing,that's the three I watch over and over again, the wuxie playing those roles were soo talented and I loved fatty in explore with the note 1 and 2 as my favorite,I loved them and that Maserati and the range rover was always a spotlight...wondering if they were a heavy sponsor🤣🤣

I have seen the first 3 1/2 seasons and the cast from the 1st season was changed but amazingly know matter who plays xie or qiling there is always great chemistry between the actors. I myself have yet to understand the bromance that’s going on between theses characters and I’m still waiting for a make out scene to happen and even if it doesn’t happen I still love this show .

I just finished watching SOP and the chemistry between these two are amazing. The way they to each other…. And Xiao Ge is always, always looking to (and for) Wu Xie. How not to love? Even though they don’t have many scenes together. It’s the Trio, but who is there all the time is Pangzi. I wouldn’t mind seeing Wu Xie sharing a bed with Qiling sometimes.
But now I want to watch others. I liked a lot of your edit, so maybe I’ll begin with Ultimate Note.

Proudly say tht i’ve watched all the lost tomb series even the mystic nine and only zeng shunxi can play wu xie the best and yang yang as xiao ge.. li yi feng and hou minghao did great too but their physical appearances are not as accurate while xiao yu liang and cheng yi feels a lil bit awkward to me as yang yang set the bar too high😩 but ofc everyone have their own preference and this is mine🤣 hoping for ultimate note 2 with zeng shunxi and xiao yu liang again since their chemistry is a bomb😔✌️

@@erin2990 I thought you’ve seen “guardian” with him for sure, no? yes, totally recommend watching “Untimate note” first, then “Reboot”, ah they’re amazing, and the ship is meant to be, like at first qiling was meant to be a girl and his love interest, but the author said the novels got out of hands and qiling was born, but he’s still wu xie’s ideal partner, he’s like his guardian angel, they’re super adorable, but also super angsty bc qiling had a very bad childhood and he’s like “I have no home”, but in the books he says how wu xie is his only connection to this world T_T wu xie just always waits for him to come back home, they’re like these slow burn epic lovers and author of the books agrees 🥰❤️ these two dramas did the perfect casting for sure, also sparkles everywhere 😂 ultimate note just went full on gay tho xD
