Oh Ms Renee! Getting into sourdough for the first time and I went with your recipe, it's how I've become a subscriber...you're a delight! I hear that it takes newbies a few tries getting it right but it went together flawlessly. So, first batch...I busted out the ingredients that I had written down and played the video just to make sure. "Let it rise for 12 hours" I said, "12 HOURS?!!" Nuts. So I put it in the oven with the light on and went shopping. 3 hours later...no joke...the dough had risen so much it was gooo all over the place! I was laughing and pulling dough and giggling and cracking up and cleaning up! So let me tell you, that's some powerful stuff right there. Happy New Year from a new subscriber in the high desert of Arizona!
Yay! I think I’ve finally found the starter I’ve been looking for & the resulting bread recipe! This all seems like what I used to make years ago. Thank you so much!
I bake mine at 350° F for 25 - 30 min. You can also make a cinnamon swirl version. Press flat and lay softened butter across the top. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and slap into the pan to rise for 8 hours. Bake and enjoy with coffee. Num!!! Icing is powdered sugar 4 T a few drops of orange juice.
I found your video..thx..just need to know how to make the starter..do you use all purpose flour or bread flour usually?thx dear..your bread loaves look beautiful..awesome job!!
That starter looks great.... I think I can smell it all the way to Maine..looks nice and smooth...I'm with you I like soft bread but like the sour dough taste.. Are you using movie maker now? Video looks great..

What temperature do you bake the bread?!
Do you make it straight out of fridge or do you let your starter sit to room temperature first then take it out to make bread
You make it look easy! I've been wanting to make this for a long time! Thanks!
It is not hard at all. just the time spent waiting for the starter to brew...thank you
What temperature did you bake the bread at Ma'am?

Do you not put any oil in the bread?
Your bread looks really delicious . Hope to try this soon.
I found it!!! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
I'm assuming you set the temp on 350° F...and used all purpose flour??
What do you do with remaining starter?
I have just always been told and practice that you should not let the bread have any contact with metal. Has that been an issue for you?
Did you use self rising flour or regular flour
