ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Siempre ha sido mi canción soñada para que hubiera ido a Eurovisión.
Eso mismo llevo años pensando yo también!!
No la hubiera ganado de todos modos porque Eurovisión es totalmente política. Cuántas canciones de tantos países, incluyendo del nuestro, tenían que haber ganado por bellas, etc y no lo hicieron frente a otras que lo eran menos.

@@salvador9369 En los años 90 y primera mitad de los 2000, España obtuvo bastantes veces puestos por encima del top 10. Hasta que llegó la brillante idea de mandar a las Kepchup y compañía, lo que inició la debacle de nuestras representaciones en el festival.
Este tema es de 2008, y no creo que hubiera quedado debajo del 5º puesto; y de presentarse 10 años antes, sigo manteniendo que las opciones de ganarlo hubieran sido altas.
@@ivanwan83 yo te entiendo y hasta estoy de acuerdo en todo lo que dices, porque además es obvio. Pero no hablo de eso, sino de ganar, que es muy pero muy distinto, y en eso no tenemos nada que hacer porque, como puse antes, todo ese festival está totalmente politizado (no porque lo merezcamos o no). No lo digo ni por bien ni por mal, sino simplemente por lo que es. De no estarlo, estoy convencido al 100% que en más de una ocasión hubieran ganado otros artistas en vez de los que han ganado. Y además estoy seguro también que no soy el único que lo piensa así.

Exacto,y lo que no entiendo es como no está mucho mas arriba a nivel mundial.Bueno,si que lo sé,es española y canta en español.Con unos compositores y una produccion de la que le hacen a Beyoncé,Jenifer Lopez,Madonna,Ga-Ga, Kate Perry,etc etc...y cantando en inglés,sería la unica y absoluta reina de la musica.
@@carmelocoton3468 La fama MUNDIAL se consigue a base de PROMOCIÓN y Mónica Naranjo NO la tiene pero tiene el RECONOCIMIENTO a nivel INTERNACIONAL de ser una de las MEJORES VOCES Y CANTANTES DEL MUNDO algo que NINGUNA otra cantante ESPAÑOLA TIENE y su MÚSICA y DISCOS son de MÁS CALIDAD MUSICAL que los de TODAS esas cantantes tan famosas por algo su último álbum LUBNA ha sido premiado por INNOVAR en la ÓPERA por la gente que más sabe de música, los profesionales de la música CLÁSICA !!

I would certainly say that she is THE DIVA of Spain, her voice is compared with the greatest of this planet. And yeah, she is really theatrical which really suits her music and her personality :)

I saw her perform this more recently. This woman still has it. And it was full orchestra/choral backup rather than the original technopop. It was SO good.

Yes, Rebecca, that crying was, indeed, FOR REAL. This theme came after 7 years of "stop & go" in her career, because some troubles with her disco Stamp, etc, and she decided to go on with her OWN music; she was soooo into the audience, loving them soo much after such a long time not touching an stage.
