Hey Jess! I also have an issue with clenching my jaw during my sleep. I'm glad you were able to find a viable solution. Not sure if you would be interested, but I found that wearing a night guard drastically reduced my jaw clenching as well. It isn't sexy to put on, but it was a one time cost and gets the job done haha.

I have the exact same situation where I clench my jaw muscle a lot to the point where I had a lot of migraine and very painful jaw and shoulder muscles. I've been doing the treatment every 8 months for a few years now, but I've got to say, it hurts so very very much. My jaw muscles are way bigger than yours and always sore and rock hard (I also clench during the day), so that might be the difference. But I'm glad it works for you, it does for me as well!

Jess I too clench my jaw and I wondered if you wear a bite guard at night to protect your teeth, I have to wear one as I was cracking my teeth( not terribly, but my dentist noticed!) worth getting one to protect your teeth though if you haven’t else you can break your teeth x

It is interesting that you wake up with headaches from jaw clenching. Your subconscious mind is very active during your sleep. Do you remember your dreams? If not, you may be processing information that causes you distress. I would recommend finding a hypnosis practitioner you connect with to explore what is going on.
