For Britten, this strategy is simple, Because they get a villager from a house. So your focus will be more on wood. Moreover, at 8:44 , he survived taking so many blows.
I think Sweden could have done a better job focusing his siege, booming himself behind the pressure with torps and TP line. Also could have raided with caroleans instead of dying under 4 towers and CM TC
Amazing how many players forget about grens. Towers get penalties vs. them and even with CM, TCs take 4 shots to kill one. Vills don’t work either cus of high melee attack or they can be ignored cus they take a long time to kill.
Minutemen have bonus vs grens tbf. 300hp vills with 13 melee vs range resist also pretty good. Grens expensive so rush would b slower and backed by less meatshield unitsh. This pike musk rush is probably the scariest one from experience cause it's quick and musks dont get 1 shot by cm
@@Risotto_aoe had no idea about mm bonus. Still I like to experiment with them. Ofc another drawback is pop space which is sick. Going all in with heavy inf(Musk or gren or both) together with CDB (better have HP cards) is also sick. You can use CDB as meat shield/skirm while gathering resources under TC/near enemy base.
@@Risotto_aoe Minutemen are tough for them to call because of the gold cost which age 1 doesn’t really want to gather and if they are age 1, there’s only going to be 6 of them and temporarily withdrawing is an option. Getting the 400/400 batch is far less feasible. I’m not saying to rush with grens, I agree unit is too inflexible and the stupid siege trooper bonus is asinine (significant reason why siege troopers don’t see use) but if seeing towers and age 1, building an art foundry as a gren civ (which Sweden is) is probably a worthwhile investment. Most people waste 400 wood or more on pikemen which get decimated as we see here. Has someone actually bothered using grens against you?

Didn't xage say too ez to signify that he could have won the game if he continued sieging the tc and then stopped sieging it deliberately so that that didn't happen?? ie the strat wouldn't have worked if he had continued sieging the tc and hadn't given risotto the chance to continure deliberately? Why else would he stop sieging the tc?

I think xage said too ez because it's just too ez for him. Then he resigned due to a connection loss some 10 mins later. Unfortunate.
