Achikolo is a traditional dance from Enugu State, Nigeria. In Igbo language (most Nigerian languages I've heard), there's no silent vowel sound and the vowel sounds are pronounced independently even when placed next to another vowel sound. The "G" in "Ogene" is pronounced like it is in "Girl". Nice review. 🎈🎈🎈
Achikolo is a dance movement or pattern peculiar to the people of Enugu, South East Nigeria. If you're not well fed, and physically fit you won't be able to perform such.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Its a Dance but also means Nostalgia.... even the lyrics are like 21 questions about your childhood, where you grew up, the kind of games and folktales you shared as a kid- kinda reminiscing on the good aspect of your life as whole and appreciating it!
Achikolo is driven from Igbo language, an instruments of dance with so much energetic for Youngs. But the way you pronounces nigeria words is amazing, just the way we do. The story is that phyno and zoro grew up in ghetto of ENUGU STATE(abakpa). nigeria, so they are a kind of giving back to the area and as well featuring the down throden like dwafs, one legeds and some bunch of talents just to give them hope and sense of belonging.
I'm from South Southern Nigeria so I don't understand the Igbo Language but I love it.. Thanks for reacting to this, Much love from Abuja, Nigeria Check out Phyno's other songs. Phyno - SFSG, Phyno -ft. Wale - N.W.A , Phyno - Ride for you
No regrets for the day I found this Channel... You're doing well. Nigeria is just warming up for the music industry, the world is bored with RnB, Hip-hop and blues, let's spice it up with Something spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️ * Check out More of Phyno's tracks...
@@RogueRxyce I can see you like our traditional music. Please i will appreciate it if you can check out OGENE by Zoro ft Flavour and also check out GBO GAN GBOM by Flavour ft Zoro and phyno. I just subscribed, remain blessed.
@@RogueRxyce All you need now is a Nigerian name lol. I vote for Chioma, meaning good God or someone who is lucky or favoured in the Igbo language or Yemisi (shortened from Oluwayemisi) which means God honours me or God cherish me in the Yoruba language. Ogene is pronounced 'O' (as in orange) 'Ge' (as in get) 'Ne' (as in Never). The music is such a vibe man. I'm Igbo but was born and raised in London and don't understand the language. Thanks for reacting to our traditional music though.
@@sylviasworld9397 if i could pin this i would! thank you so much for the breakdown of the pronunciation and especially the name! that ones got my vote as well! i feel very honored. Much appreciated!! 🙏🏽🙌🏽💗
