    I worked the Rendezvous bar at Resorts International when Chris played there. I remember his Harley Davidson stool. And at the end of the evening, he got on his big Harley motorcycle and rode off.

    I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Columbo in his later years on Meal on Wheels in AC during the summer months. A bigger than life personality

    I danced on stage with Chris and Gil Askey summer of 63 and 64 I was 4 yrs old ,Club Harlem Kentucky ave AC NJ,, RIP Chris and Gil

    Some of the high points of my career were sharing the bandstand with Chris at the Shnowboat Casino

    Love Chris' playing. He's got the groove and a big pocket! Played with Louis Jordan later, some cool videos of Chris with that band on The Beat TV show, they are on RUclips. He's a bit older and still killing it...

    Mr Columbus was sorta connected wasn’t he? RIP - great drummer and his son Sonny Payne was one of the greatest drummers of all time.

    He passed away in 2002 at the age of 100
