I was not expecting a video like this, I am truly proud to be a part of the MikroTik community and to be mentioned with many other great channels! TKSJA was actually the first channel I came across and watched while studying for my own MTCNA, and all the other channels you have mentioned are very interesting and I keep up with them myself. You are also 100% right my channel's goals have always been to try and open more people up to networking and MikroTik has just been the perfect "partner"/equipment because of all the awesome stuff you can do. So thank you as well for opening up more connectivity to the rest of the world and keep up with your awesome YT content as well!
@@TheNetworkBerg well deserved shoutout. Your channel is arguably the best Mikrotik content on the platform and totally free. It's helped me personally grow my career, and thousands others I'm sure.
Man! As a fellow saffer, im so proud to see your channel grow. You've inspired me to studdy more, setup eveng and run labs that I thought Id never understand like I do today thanks to you. Keep up the great work...
would have been a shame if you were not mentioned here (; thanks to your videos i had the option to easily show my colleagues about stuff one can do with mikrotik and how, without splitting my brain to try to untangle stuff i am too deep in by now
This guy in his video Mastering VLAN Configuration on MikroTik, Step-by-Step Guide was the first to explain for beginners how to get started with VLANs on MikroTik.
Tksja is underated and deserve more love excellent content.. The other channels excellent too Network Berg - five star Content Network Chuck - legend Also new channels discovered
@@beatsuter2952 That is true it might have skipped them . He is good too . But his videos are always paid to get premium and all that you get for free or more from Wilmar
I like ServeTheHome as an introduction to a specific product. But what for some reason rubs me the wrong way is that hyper positivity while in my opinion not offering enough constructive criticism.
In Brazil we have at least 2 channels about Mikrotik in Portuguese that deserve to be mentioned: www.youtube.com/@RedesBrasil/featured www.youtube.com/@LeoMikrotik/featured
I reacted at your shirt choice(s) with my new cataract surgery now done - I can see you struggle at deciding on which to wear. Tip: look at South American ranges this year. Great topic choice for this vid, though. You've got me on a mission. Cheers.
For several months now, I have been a MikroTik user, and it was love at first sight. I purchased the AX3 for my home. However, why is the Wi-Fi performance so poor? When will you release a truly powerful device for home users, featuring 4x4 MIMO? Setting up optimal Wi-Fi should also be easier for someone who isn’t an expert in wireless networks. I write my own scripts, deploy containers-it’s amazing. But when it comes to Wi-Fi, I’m sorry to say, you’re not quite there yet. Also, a single 2.5G port is no longer sufficient these days. The L009 would be ideal if it had at least a few 2.5G ports and 5GHz Wi-Fi with 4x4 MIMO.
LOVED IT👏👏! I HOPE MIKROTIK CREATES MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS TO MOTIVATE CONTENT CREATORS. REALLY APPRECIATE IT (LOVE FROM INDIA🥰🥰🤩🤩). ALL THE CHANNELS YOU MENTIONED HAVE CREATED GREAT VIDEOS, AND THEY ARE MY GURUS FROM WHOM I LEARNED ABOUT MIKROTIK AND AM STILL LEARNING. I HOPE ONE DAY MY CHANNEL, WILL ALSO BE FEATURED ON YOUR CHANNEL. HEHEHE!😁😁😁😁😁 🥰🥰🥰
I'm over here soaking up all the info I can. I've been using a Synology router for years, and moving to the RB5009. For 10Gb networking inside I'm using a CRS309. Looooots to take in and get used to.
The first 50 years are the most complicated in networking, stay strong! 😅 Let us know if you have any questions! Also, our documentation (combined with the support chatbot on the right side here: mikrotik.com/support ) is pretty detailed, so its worth taking a look.
Does anyone know a good guide/video for implementing IPv6 when you have internal VLANs and are trying to use a prefix delegation from the ISP? I have ATT with a /64 prefix and addressing subnet and can't figure it out. Figured someone here might be able to point me in the right direction because I haven't gotten far using mikrotiks ipv6 documentation 😢

I normally make a video once every 3-6 months, when I find something new or interesting to try.
Congratulations on the shout out!
Indeed "The Network Berg" is the BEST teacher about Mikrotik !

You can't subnet a /64, you have to use VLANs. There is a good IPv6 MikroTik course on Udemy
