I have a terminology test coming up for a position at a hospital. Haven't had to use terminology in a while, and wouldn't you know it, I can't find my terminology textbook anywhere. Your videos are a lifesaver!

Your videos are extremely useful even to someone like me with a fairly basic understanding of medical terminology because of your short commentary on the various conditions that you cover.

Please consider adding timestamps in the description for each word. This would be very helpful for me.

Can a medical term be a combination of only the prefix and suffix or the word root is there in every medical term ?

Yes. Consider the prefix dys- meaning difficult, or faulty and the suffix -pnea meaning breathing. When these two word parts are combined together, we form the term dyspnea (dys/pnea) which means difficulty in breathing.
