My son and I were at this game. A good amount of fans took off in the last 3 minutes thinking UTSA had an easy victory too. Boy, the last 2 minutes was anyone’s game but UTSAs offense gave it to them! Awesome game.

It was highlighted on ESPN also and they didn't think there was a pushoff either. But UNT were bad sports taunting the crowd also after taking the lead. That was low class unsportsmanlike and it fired up the crowd big time for the last drive. And we fired up the team in return. thank you, number 27, for fueling your own loss. Next time just take the W and act like it's not the first one.

We could see that live. Having hands on a player isn’t the same as a push off. They're always fun to watch. But big sports media projects a negative perception on them so they can boost the bottomline for ratings in big market conferences which they have a higher stake in.

Three things: 1. when i was going to oootsuh (UTSA - that's how we pronounced it), we barely had buildings, let alone a football team. 2. in early 2016, attended a college night at oootsuh with daughter #6 (tried unsuccessfully to talk her into accepting an ROTC scholarship to UTSA. I was absolutely AMAZED by what the campus has become. Back when, it was still all trees and cactus and wildlife. ALTOGETHER different today!!, and 3. Brings tears of pride to my eyes to see how awesome the team is and how strong the support is for them. A wave of orange in the Dome!!!
We should be getting 65K+ at each game. That would be truly amazing. Then city will have to decide to increase capacity to 80 or 90+ or build a 100k+ stadium with UTSA help. That would be neat....
That was extremely exciting. Those receivers/tight ends were playing like they had something to prove. Stretching for a fourth down conversion, extending for a one handed catch on the run while looking line a tackle, floating in the sky to snatch a back shoulder touchdown. Hard to name a more thrilling three play series than that.

I think it really matters that so many of our players are local. we really are the University of Texas San Antonio. no other Texas team has as high a percentage of it's players from here at home. QB and tight end#9 are both local. Clark, who caught the last touchdown, is from fort worth. These are fine, upstanding young men just like our Spurs. It makes it really easy to root for them.

Forget about the NFL and the Cowboys. We have the best football entertainment here in SA. TV stations need to start putting the RR's above the Cowboys who are 300 miles away, and the Texas 200 miles away and give 1000% support to UTSA football which is in our own backyard. Also maybe the big businesses need to show more support for them too. This game and atmosphere can make for great recruiting for Traylor.
