    Want to thank you for this vid!! Just tried to leave a Walmart parking lot…truck wouldn’t start. Did this and bam fired right up! You saved us from having to call a tow truck. We’ve got a trailer attached too so we would have gotten a** reamed on the price! Really appreciate it sir 😎

    If the relay and fuse are good and you get a crank no start sporadically it's the fuel pump going bad. You can bang on the fuel tank, disconnect the batt terminals and push the Schrader valve in and it will crank sometimes but the pump is getting ready to go out completely. I just replaced my pump 8 months ago and it went out already. Got it from oriellys so I put in a autozone pump. Hopefully it last longer than a year.

    Had the same thing happen to me, watched your video, released a little fuel, cranked right up! Kudos my friend! I was thinking fuel pump, or relay, maybe a fuse.

      Please let us know if it helps. I still have crank no start issues every now and then and every time I do this trick it works! If I find a permanent solution I will definitely share it. Thank you and good luck!

      It could also be the IAC ( idle aiir control) motor. It Mounts on the air intake on top of the engine towards the back. Hope this helps!

    I'm currently having the same issue with my 2000 f150xlt it struggles to run in the morning when it's cold, but once the day gets warm, it turns on like nothing.

      Check your mass airflow sensor. Look up air flow sensor for your truck on you tube. Hope this helps and please keep us updated. Cheers!

      @funwithdlvlogs4184 I noticed that theft light blinks fast when it does not want to start but I keep turning off and on the key switch until the theft light goes off and then the truck starts.

      Awesome! But also check your intake air control (iac) module and also make sure your wires around the fuel injectors and coil packs are snug in their proper plug. I found that one of mine easily unplugged itself, I had to use a zip tie to keep my wires around the fuel injectors and coil pak plugged in it's proper plug. Glad to hear it worked for you and thank you!... But me changing the intake air control (iac) module really helped the truck tremendously... And its really easy to replace! Have a great one! Cheers!

      @@ToddMcClure027 and I want to make a correction... The part is called the "idle air control" valve. And I also noticed that when I was trying to start the truck the rpm didn't jump. Hope this helps. Have a great day.

    My truck has fuel come out when I press that fuel valve but Still only cranks I put a test light to my coils and no light so maybe no spark when I start I don’t know where to go from that

    • @funwithdlvlogs4184
      @funwithdlvlogs4184  9 месяцев назад +1

      First check your fuses with the Manuel. Maybe your idle air control ( iac) valve. also check for loose wires around the coil and injectors. Might be the starter solenoid ( the small one under the hood that's mounted on the frame). Might need to be replaced. If I think of anything else I will let you know. Hope this helps!

      @@funwithdlvlogs4184 now I can get the engine to start but it shuts off immediately if I don’t Press on the gas, I’m thinking Something wrong with the air because It gave me a code(P0511) it said, Replace idle air valve and Before I had a lean condition(P0171)

      @@wicked5312 yes... It may be the idle air control motor ( at least I think it's a motor) but I had the same issue, replaced the iac motor and it's all good! It mounts behind the air flow meter ( I think it's the air flow meter). But it ultimately sounds like a iac motor issue....after all we drive Ford's! Lol! And I will always drive a Ford! Hope this helps!

    Puré luck the valve is for the fuel pressure gauge and nothing to do with fuel ventilation pure luck

      Yes you are absolutely correct... But at the time when I was stranded for more than an hour, me doing that and it started made me think it may have something to do with it...but ultimately it was a loose wire to the fuel injection. I have a video up showing this. Times like this I'm will to try whatever to get home. lol!
