Thanks for watching guys! Dave will be revealing the next watch on his channel, so make sure you keep an eye for that and that you are subscribed to Just The Watch!
I own a Q Timex (Pepsi) and a Q Timex GMT (Batman). Both have a problem with the crown and movement. When I push in the crown, after taking advantage of the hacking feature and having set the time precisely, the minute hand jumps, either forward or backward, by maybe as much as two minutes. This makes setting a reliable time very difficult. Actually almost impossible. I am not alone in this. While no RUclips video review of the watches seems to mention this, I have read the same complaint in in other online reviews and comments. These are beautiful pieces, but setting the time on them is maddening.
It's been over 3 years since I had this watch in my hands, but I honestly can't remember it doing that. That sounds really annoying. Did you try contacting Timex or whoever sold you the watch about this issue?
I love my Q Timex and to me is worth the retail price and not a penny above. Sure you can pick up something like a Pagani Design with way crazier specs for less than $100. However this Q is extremely charming and I would recommend it! Another great video Aviv!!
Great review mate and looking forward to seeing the next watch in the chain. For me - even as a quartz fan, I think the price for it is too much. If it were £100 to £120 I think that would have been a much fairer price point. Or if this was an automatic, then it would be worth it imo. Great to hear your thoughts on it too 👍
The Q is a beautiful watch. I own several and would probably end up owning the entire collection. I'm only buy Timex and my collection is over 50 and counting.
Good in depth review, I've always liked the retro look of the Q & could easily live with the hair pulling bracelet 😊 I do feel though that the pricing is still a bit on the high side, but it's nice to see that Timex are introducing some new colourways for it. I look forward to seeing the next watch in the chain. 👍
Loving the retro look 👀. Not a buyer being a quartz movement however. Think the price point is a bit expensive for a quartz movement. I know it’s homage and trying to stay true but using an automatic with an exhibition case back would make me a buyer.
It is very UFO'y 😜 Also you big tease... Making us wait until the end of the video, then not only giving us half of the info. I look forward to finding out what it is.
@@MyAffordableWatchCollection Oh ok. Thanks for the heads up. I love this watch chain idea. I thinks it's going to end up becoming a bit thing pretty soon.
Hi Aviv. I am Relojes de Tiempo on IG. Great review, love the watch but I think is overpriced. You are improving your channel and review very much, congratulations!
I love the look of this watch. But if the bracelet didn't start out with a 21mm width, it would look tiny. Especially on my wrist. I kind of wish this watch were the 40mm width of the automatic version.
Different strokes for different folks. I think I would personally like it less if it had a 40mm case 😊 This is a winning look nonetheless, thanks for watching!
Nice review, but I have to agree with allot of the folks who think it is over priced, in fact, I believe it is way over priced. This is quite simply a nice looking Timex quartz with decent colors, but it should be priced like most Timex quartz watches, around $40 - $60. After all, it has a nasty bracelet that is guaranteed to pinch and grab hair. I just can't believe people would spend the retail price let alone the exorbitant prices commanded by the cheaters out there. Oh well, to each his own. Just think of the great Citizen and Seiko watches you can get for far less money.
Timex is, and always has been, a disposable low quality watch brand, mainly sold in the USA. If you think 179$ is a reasonable price for this quartz watch, have it your way. It is definitely not for me!
I don't get the hype. Like, it doesn't offer very much for its price. No solar, no radio sync, no mecha-quartz chrono, no exceptional depth rating. Also, I like blue watches, I like red watches, but "Pepsi" dials are too... toyish for my taste.
Like I said, it's main benefit is it's look. It doesn't offer a whole lot more than that, so it's just a matter of if you like the design or not... Thanks for watching!
I have a bunch of old Timex watches and I can honestly say this new reissue sucks. The fit and finish are terrible, the crown action moves the second hand erratically when pushing it in and out. Just for the price along, it so overrated. I would not pay more than $40-$50 for it.
@@AvgJoeWatchReviews It is really the pricing more than anything. It is so overpriced for the quality of a watch that it is. A handful of my older Expedition beats this reissue in fit and finish, crown action, and overall quality. I was so disappointed.
Thanks for watching guys! Dave will be revealing the next watch on his channel, so make sure you keep an eye for that and that you are subscribed to Just The Watch!
Bought this bad boy for my dad last christmas. I am totally inlove with it. I gosta get me one. Another great Review.
Another watch I miss. I really enjoyed my time with it! Thanks for watching buddy
The way you adjusted the clasp risks bending the bar, there is a better way friend, respects from South Africa
Interesting piece. Keep up the good work. Regards.
Looks pretty cool, can't wait to check it out when it gets here, glad I got picked!
Just the Watch - you’re going to love it brother!
The video quality keeps getting better and better! Nice one. Really like it on the strap you showed it on too👍
I do my best, thanks Bob 😊
ordered the 38mm steel blue and the missus got the 36mm kinda goes like a pair cant wait till we get them ❤️
My 1st watch in my collection I've had it about 2 weeks its excellent and budget friendly.i don't have hair on my wrist, so it is perfect 😊
Great video the reissue of the Q Timex is the bomb!
Thanks P, much appreciated!
Well, I purchased this watch for 82 US Dollars ($) yesterday in India. Its just an amazing vintage looking/head turning timepiece.
Great price, enjoy it 👌🏻

@@MyAffordableWatchCollection thanks Aviv! Was great fun to do.
First! Yeah buddy!
Agree 100%. Good review!
Thank you very much 😊
Hi nice video. How long last the lume ? Is it good enough for the night ?

really liking the look of the new colorways. Might pick up the orange one
Very good review sir. But I just cannot get into that watch. I could not Rock That Watch. 🤣 Keep up the great videos man.
Different strokes buddy, keep on rocking in the free world!
My Affordable Watch Collection yes sir. That is what makes the world so interesting. Take care my friend and stay safe. 🙏🏻

IMO, a retro-classic watch with a great bracelet.
I think so too, thanks for watching!
Shalom Dude , Good Review. The piece is Good, but not Great,IMO, of course.
For a re issue, I think they chose a design that would appeal to the millennials and it worked.
I guess that's true, but I don't think it appeals just to millennials, but to those with a nostalgic taste as well.
Thanks for watching Matt!
