Watching the replay I just wanted to give you a FYI for future reference, it’s called crochet thread. I also was able to order your Elegant Thoughts stamps and dies couple of days ago. I really need to go check out your website for all your products. Thank you for sharing on RUclips. The videos are so helpful! Blessings! 💕 Linda from Ohio
I love the idea of you finding more people to visit with. You haven’t scratched the surface of the well known makers and I’d love to hear from makers (like me!) who don’t make for a living, but for the joy of making! Thanks for a wonderful year and merry Christmas to both of you and your families!
Love these ideas! Here's a tip: When I am using embossing powder or glitter, I fold 2-3 sheets of inkjet paper in half to make a valley. This creates a sort of funnel. Then, I layer them on top of one another. I use the top sheet to capture the powder/glitter from my project. Then, I pour the excess embossing powder or glitter into the container over the second sheet. Then, of course, there is some that just didn't make it in, but it is on the third sheet. I use that to pour into the container over one of the other sheets. Hope that makes sense. Very little powder or glitter is wasted or making a mess.
Gina any jeweler that is reputable will take a photo of your diamond through a special magnifying glass, it will show the registration number in your diamond. They will photograph it and show you. Then when you return, they will show you again through that same magnifying glass, and you will be able to see the registration number to know it is yours.
I disagree. Choose a jeweler that is insured and bonded. Jewelers are in a whole professional. My jeweler takes a photo of my diamond, which shows the license number in it, he then shows that to me and when I pick it up, he again shows me my diamond through that scope, so I know it is mine.
My grandmother never left her jewelry alone at the jewelers. She would not take her eyesight away from her jewelry. And stay there till they they finished. That’s just the way she was and the jewelers knew that was the deal. No one’s feelings got hurt.
Great ideas for Terrific Tape. Don’t feel bad for being hesitant to leave your ring with an unknown jeweler. I share that fear and have 2 rings I can’t wear because I don’t know who to trust.
When I use microfine glitter, I burnish it with my fingers before using the Swiffer. Thermo Web has 13 colors of Plush Paper. I wish they had colors for critters: beige, tan, brown, light and dark gray, rust
Watching on replay. Gina your original paperwork should have the diamond serial number or marking. After the repair have another jeweler verify the # or marking.
Watching on replay. Check and see if you can make an appointment with a jeweler who will fix while you wait. A prong should not be too difficult. Although getting them all extended might be good.
Actually it can be difficult. You have to be very careful (and very good at soldering) not to melt the existing prongs as you’re soldering the new prong onto the ring. I don’t know if they’ll have to remove the other prongs as well and just create all four prongs at the same time, then placing the diamond back in. 🤷♀️ I’ve soldered silver jewelry for ring making before but not prongs or especially real diamonds! 😅 I could be wrong but I’m thinking this might be white gold. Completely out of my tiny expertise! 🤦♀️🫣

I am usually covered with the glitter, but a have to laugh when I Dee it on my husbands face 😂
No, you should be careful with your diamond. My grandmother's was stolen. 😞 She was heartbroken.
So pretty so far!
Tom, do you still play your guitar? I miss it!
What’s awesome
You can also use Thermo Web Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo (heat or no heat).
Your right don’t trust the jewelry stores with your diamonds 13:36

I'm about to start a petition for a card / word of the day calendar for 2025 / 26
Can never put my foil up to the top of the carrier sheet like Gina. Need to have a little space on mine to get rollers to grab it.

I find it is better to press down with the back of the finger not the fleshy part. The hardness of the fingernail gives a better contact to the foil.
The foil on the dot runner looks like tire tracks.
I sent an email on your site about an Amazing jeweler, known for many years!
Thank you so much for that, I'll check it out!
If you want to know if you've got a real diamond scratch it a piece of glass if it leaves a scratch mark you've got the real maccoy
