Gina, it was probably about 2009 that I was watching you on your original channel (cards tv??) that I watched you do the waxed paper technique. A few weeks later I was in a thrift store and found a travel iron without steam and portable ironing board. I came home and tried the technique with all 4 of the folders I owned at the time and fell in love! I took it to my weekly card club and taught it to all of them. It is still one of my favorite techniques! And because of you I found Jennifer and because I found Jennifer I found Kristina! Thank you for those early videos!! And Jennifer, I recall watching you do iron off embossing and I still do that as well and it's awesome. Even seasoned card makers scratch their heads when they see it. All the solid images stark against ink blending. You should revisit that technique soon. I love these love collaborations. Hope to see more in the future!!
Bonus day - two of my favourite crafters together. Jennifer, never doubt your ability to do lives. Gina always gives me new ideas. You both helped me, a retiree, get through Covid. Thanks so much to you both, as well as Tom and Mike.
O geez! Jennifer that idea with removing embossing folder is the BOMB!!! Definitely DON'T like the brush to remove excess powder!!! Thanks soooooo much for this video!!
I wish I had watched this when you first aired this video! I agree with the other comments. I enjoy watching, but your voices are good. Easy listening! Merry Christmas ladies and Tom!
I couldn’t watch this live but when I did watch it my cat Shadow sat on my lap the whole time watching along. He never does that. Even he knows you are special. 😁
I always forget about my embossing folders, but now I will have to try these cool techniques! I was just wondering when you take your, coloured wet stamp pad and run it over another colour wouldn't that colour of stamp pad get on the other colour of stamp pad and ruin that colour??? You two are my favourite crafters to watch, I am glad you are doing this again. I will be watching! Thanks so much, Joan
I've been so busy, not had time to watch, I'm so glad I came back to find this. What a wonderful live! Fantastic techniques! I'm excited that you're going to be doing this as a regular 'tag team techniques' series! Thank you both, so inspiring as always xoxo
I’m an old timer too…Jennifer McGuire, Gina K, and Kristina Werner were my first online experience with card making. At that time Gina was on Stamp TV! TYFS Jennifer and Gina…GREAT techniques!!!💕🌸💕
I can so relate to the hot flashes. As long as we can still find humor in it, it eases the frustration. I hope you and Jennifer do more together, with Tom at the controls, it doesn’t get any better!!!!!!!!
Love the tag team idea! I learned so much today with these embossing folder techniques! Embossing folders are a favorite of mine and using them in fun new ways is a bonus!
Love the idea of a regular tag team video with the two of you! It is such a pleasure to see two happy friends getting their creative energies flowing and sharing such terrific inspiration with us! It provides a wonderful respite from so much drama and heartache in the world these days. Both of you are amazing, wonderful women that bring so much joy and creative inspiration to us viewers! Heartfelt Thanks!!🧑🏼🎨💗
Supplies for doing nails will have the sanding supplies. Amazing, the ideals you two come up with is jaw dropping. Gives me so many things to try! Gina and Jennifer, thank-you!!
yes, please, do the tag technique video. Love the information shown and you two do it clearly and professionally. You both present so clearly and easily to follow. Just have to keep up with notes so I remember what was done.
Wow!! Enjoyed that. Love both of you and all your ideas. Nice to know a few other different ideas to use embossing folders. Stretching what you have. One of my favorite was the wood technique. Love anything doing with wood. ( I live in a all wood log home,no plasterboard anywhere) Really enjoyed watching and laughing with you both. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait till next time. Have a Happy New Year, safe and healthy one to you both and families. 🎉🥳
I love the size of your embossing folders, Gina.❤ I have been buying bigger embossing folders because I get way more use out of them. Now I have to add them to my wishlist.
Thank you Gina & Jennifer . Appreciate you showing me how to get more use / looks from our embossing folders . Crafting isn’t cheap and I can’t resist buying new products , but I love that you’ve shared ways to get more versatility from my purchases . By the way you’re both great people and lovely to listen to . I enjoyed this very much .
These is a great one for future reference. Wish there was a "super thanks" option, at least on the replay. That way it wouldn't disrupt the show and viewers could delete the acknowledgement if they don't want it public. Thanks ladies. You are great together. I'm so looking forward to the next tag team techniques.
What an amazing Christmas gift from you to treat us with technique videos!!! It will be fun and we learn a lot🥰 happy holidays sweet ladies and Tom and Mike of course 💖💖💖
Hi Gina, Tom and Jennifer I am watching the replay!! I love all these embossing techniques, some I have tried and some I haven’t!! I really enjoy seeing you both craft together!! Jennifer, you do great with lives, never doubt yourself!! Merry Christmas to you and your families!! 🎄❤️❄️❤️⛄️
Spectacular! I love having all the different techniques in one video. It saves time when looking for something specific and having to look across channels! Thank you!
I have to say, 2D embossing folders are easier to use and the perfect height for any cards I need to mail (almost all). Love the 3D look too, BUT I've had many issues using them, depending on the brand, etc. Gina's 2D embossing folders always result in gorgeous, stress-less beauty.
Oh Gina & Jennifer! What a delightful video! It really does feel like I’m hanging out with friends & crafting (except I’m silent, which would never happen in real life lol). Fabulous techniques - great reference video that I’ve saved. Gina I kept thinking how much I really like your shirt then I realized I have a shirt with the exact same fabric! Mine doesn’t have the long sleeves though, so I like yours better 😁 Thank you lovely ladies for being exactly who you are💕
It's so nice to see 2D embossing folder ideas again! Great reminder to save for going back too.
