Perhaps this company has acquired the rights to use these tracks in the USA for some purpose and is now blocking them on RUclips globally. I remember that a few years ago there was a ridiculous situation with the Nightwish's song "The Poet And The Pendulum", when reactions to this song were blocked by some third-party company, because a certain rapper acquired the rights to use a sample from this song in his track and his label copyrighted that track, including Nightwish's sample. It is possible that there is a similar situation here. I don't see any other valid reasons, especially since both of these songs even belong to different record labels.

I didn't want to hear delain after Charlie left, not to be unfair to the new singer. I refused for a while, until I decided to listen. I was simply enchanted listening to her. I wish her and the band much success. Let's not make comparisons, let's appreciate the band. Everyone has their time, maybe just like me at the beginning, people are still not prepared for this new formation, but don't be rude to them. They're great and I'm happy for them.

To the people who think Diana isn't a good singer, I have no idea what drugs you people are on, she sounds friggin fantastic to me. I have seen plenty of shows with Charlotte live, she cannot hit that high belting note in Burning Bridges that Diana nails with ease. Both singers are great, I'm just sick of people crapping on Diana for no good reason. Vocals do need to be put forward more in the mix though, they are getting absolutely drown out by all the instrumentals.

LIke Delain is again back to roots. I almost dropped band from my list about year ago. It's nice to see band again full of energy. Of course is pity ex-singer wings not keep high her. I hope all good to Charlotte.
Musically and compositionally the band is as good as eve, Martijn Will see to that. I like Diana she’s a sweetheart and has some good stage presence her voice so seems to be more of a pop voice and less trained than Charlotte‘s. She’s definitely no Simone or Floor but she’s a hell of a lot better than Taylor Swift lol

I really enjoy Diana’s voice and i think it meshes really well with Delain’s sound. I still feel a bit off without Charlotte, honestly I haven’t listened too much of the new songs. I just need to sit and listen to it more. Again I really enjoy Diana and I can definitely seeing her grow a lot within the band, honestly you can already see it!
Diana fucking kills live. I've been a Delain fan since they released an April Rain album, and listen to them ever since. Yes, Charlotte was great, but Diana is more than a worthy replacement and a breeze of fresh air to the band.
I listened with this concert in the background (no visuals) Diana's voice is almost similar to Charlottes (same vibrato), but not so powerful. Very good replacement.

IMO, live quality is hard to compare to actual record quality. A good live performance regardless! I think overall, Diana does well with the new songs. It fits her nicely. As far as the rest, my mind has difficulty acclimating to Diana's voice when I've been so used to Charlotte's. Not comparing by any means, but it takes awhile to get used to the new norm and I definitely think Diana has potential! I had the same feeling with Nightwish going from Tarja Turunen to Anette Olzon.
Diana seemed out of breath here a few times and a bit off key. You can tell when she reaches to muffle her ear piece that she was struggling to hear herself. Still a solid performance. She’s definitely looking more confident. Dark Waters is a phenomenal album and I’m looking forward to the next one!

RUclips has nothing to do with it, to be fair. That was some American company that claimed the rights to two songs from Delain's setlist and demanded that the sound be removed. The rest of the songs were identified as the property of Napalm Records and this label fortunately has a more friendly copyright policy and hasn't made any claims. So it depends on the copyright holder, not the platform.
I like this singer the most... previous singer used to abuse of a singing resource, something like a vowel modulation and sustain on almost every single phrase!
Even during Charlotte’s reign, I find Burning Bridges to always be the song that sounds the least appealing live. To my ears anyway. I prefer Diana’s belting better but her version is still relatively weak compared to the original studio recording. Floor’s (Nightwish) whistle register is what’s really needed to make this song shine. Now that I’m thinking about this, I need NEED to hear Floor sing Burning Bridges so bad oh my gawd But all in all, I’m loving how Diana sounds live! There were a fair bit of pitchy and out of breath moments but she can only get better from here honestly

Delain still plays it every headlining concert. At festivals where they play for less than an hour, of course, some songs have to be removed from the setlist.

When Charlotte was in the band it was a tradition to end the show with We Are The Others. Also the festivalshows. And there is more to it why Charlotte doesn't play any Delain songs anymore...

What is strange for me: no one kicked her out, she decided to align herself with the musicians who attempted a "coup" against the founder and creative leader of the band. I think if she had known that most of the original line-up would return, she would have reconsidered her decision. But no one knew it then.
She has a nice voice but seems a bit scared and nervous and in my opinion she isnt as good as Charlotte,but she is still a great singer and perhaps with more shows her confidence will continue to grow,i suppose shows how good Charlotte was as well if the new singer is great as well
It is not surprising that Diana is somewhat less confident on stage than Charlotte: For Diana, this is her first professional band and the first tour ever. For a newcomer to the professional touring music business, who had last been on any stage many years ago in her youth, she is really incredible.
Same as the last two Delain gigs I saw in the UK, vocals are in the background and the mix is awful. One of my favourite bands, its so disappointing that they can't get it right on stage.
I don't know what kind of problems with sound quality there were at concerts in the UK, but as for this video, the band has nothing to do with this sound - people from the festival team are responsible for the mixes and sound quality of live streams. I would also like to note that the quality of the original audio track of this video is only 118 kbps (AAC), which is significantly lower than the optimal compression quality unnoticeable by the human ear.
@@rachelluna4010 On all the videos shot on phones from the audience, I didn't hear that Diana's voice was drowned in the mix, including videos from the UK, so I don't understand what problems with sound at the venues simonp3842 was talking about. As for this video, it is what it is - sound mixes from live streams of festivals are almost always far from perfect. I hope that the band will make an official live video from this tour.
In my opinion, she sings almost flawlessly and her high belting notes sound even better than Charlotte's. But in this particular video, her vocals sound a little thinner than usual and are slightly drowned in the mix. It's not her fault, but typical sound mixing shortcomings on live streams from festivals: Even Floor Jansen doesn't sound perfect on most festival streams.
@@SokolRockher technique isn't on the same level as Charlotte's. The chorus of burning bridges is a great example. She seems short of breath there. Not that she is necessarily a bad singer, because it is a hard song to pull off, but her technique is just not there

"Burning Bridges" is one of Delain's hardest songs and after watching a bunch of videos with Charlotte, I definitely don't think she handles this song any better. Some of Charlotte's performances were better, some were not. Just like Diana's performances or any other good singer.

They aren't mediocre, they are just low in the background compared to other shows.... Watch some of the other delain videos where the vocals are more upfront. She sounds amazing in them!

Same as the last two Delain gigs I saw in the UK, vocals are in the background and the mix is awful. One of my favourite bands, its so disappointing that they can't get it right on stage.
I don't know what kind of problems with sound quality there were at concerts in the UK, but as for this video, the band has nothing to do with this sound - people from the festival team are responsible for the mixes and sound quality of live streams. I would also like to note that the quality of the original audio track of this video is only 118 kbps (AAC), which is significantly lower than the optimal compression quality unnoticeable by the human ear.
Hopefully they fix this soon, Diana would sound amazing if they'd just turn her damn mike up.
@@rachelluna4010 On all the videos shot on phones from the audience, I didn't hear that Diana's voice was drowned in the mix, including videos from the UK, so I don't understand what problems with sound at the venues simonp3842 was talking about. As for this video, it is what it is - sound mixes from live streams of festivals are almost always far from perfect. I hope that the band will make an official live video from this tour.
@@rachelluna4010 They can't turn her mic up too much, because then you get feedback with the drums that are loud.

I was disappointed...I'm sorry. The vocals are mediocre.
I missed the last part of Amon Amarth because I wanted to see Delain.
In my opinion, she sings almost flawlessly and her high belting notes sound even better than Charlotte's. But in this particular video, her vocals sound a little thinner than usual and are slightly drowned in the mix. It's not her fault, but typical sound mixing shortcomings on live streams from festivals: Even Floor Jansen doesn't sound perfect on most festival streams.
@@SokolRockher technique isn't on the same level as Charlotte's. The chorus of burning bridges is a great example. She seems short of breath there. Not that she is necessarily a bad singer, because it is a hard song to pull off, but her technique is just not there
@@FireOfJagz You're wrong, Diana's vocal technique is in no way inferior to Charlotte's. "Burning Bridges" is one of Delain's hardest songs and after watching a bunch of videos with Charlotte, I definitely don't think she handles this song any better. Some of Charlotte's performances were better, some were not. Just like Diana's performances or any other good singer.
@@FireOfJagz There are other live (not professionally recorded) shows out there and she sounds better in those. Maybe Diana was having a little bit of an off-day in this show.
They aren't mediocre, they are just low in the background compared to other shows.... Watch some of the other delain videos where the vocals are more upfront. She sounds amazing in them!

@@pbalmes Well as you can see Delain has not disappeared. The songwriters are still in place, the music is still there. Original bandmembers returned. They still sell out shows, and they still play the big festivals. So no, Delain did not disappear. You simply can't deal with changes. Your loss 😉
