- My wife and I recently went on a trip to Northern California for a bit of business and pleasure. Watch this to find out what I ate as a vegan in Northern California. We aimed to eat as much whole food plant-based food as possible but also treated ourselves a little as we made our way through San Fransisco & San Jose!

Thanks for sharing! This will come in handy on our upcoming trip to Cali.
Nice!!! Let me know if you find anywhere we didn't go!
i live in the san francisco bay area! i'm so grateful for our vegan food here! last place i traveled was county donegal, ireland. finding vegan food was close to impossible. i was stuck eating tayto for a lot of the trip. Also i love my milkshake! its so delicious! i drink their vegan shakes a lot!
Thanks! Toronto has a great community too - I'm often impressed when I travel how many options are out there these days - but lots of empathy for places where they don't have them.
This deserves more views
Thank you!!!
Just found this video! So fun for you and Emily to get away. You guys are so cute! Fun for me to watch as I grew up in Redwood City which is about halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. I am now out near Sacramento, CA. Nice to know there are so many vegan options out there.
The last trip I took was to Santa Barbara and Ojai. They are both in Southern California. Went to a Hozier concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl, then to the Ojai Farmer’s Market on the way home, as well as lunch at The Hip Vegan. Yum! Highly recommend!
❤Susan
Thanks for checking out our trip!
An adventure looks like good fun. thirty-six thousand steps -WOW.
It was a haul but worth it!
It took my town a long time to get Trader Joe's but now I couldn't live without it! I 'm super happy that they got their meatless sausage patties back, I love their curly ramen noodles, and their breads are great! There were a lot more things I used to love, but can't eat now that I am vegan, rather than vegetarian. So fun to see you guys in SF. I even spotted a building I used to work in! I almost ate at Wild Seed the last time I was there, but didn't. I'll have to try it next time!
Wild Seed is GREAT. We find ourselves in Trader Joe's anytime we're stateside - we know we can get some essentials and snacks :)
Looks like you guys stopped at my Trader Joe’s in SJ! And I live in Japantown!
Small world!!!!!
Helpful video, thank you! You guys seem so sweet.
Awww - thanks!
Totally different from your usual content but really enjoyable
Glad you think so! We experiment from time to time :)
I ate at Good Karma Cafe in San Jose just a few months ago & REALLY liked it! I need to check out those GF vegan bakeries you guys found in the bay area when I go back to visit my friends in Silicon Valley.
Glad you enjoyed it! The bakery was great!
SFO added an Amy's drive in which is fully plant based!
Alright - I'll make an effort to go if I'm ever back at SFO! :)
Cool. I used to live in SF. I was there last year and was looking for vegan places to eat. I wish I had seen that Beach'n place!
It's kind of off the beaten path - but awesome
@@pbwithjeremy I used to live on that side of town. But I didn’t see that place listed on Happy Cow when I was there last. Do you know what Avenue it was on?
here's their website: beachnsf.com/
I'm visiting San Francisco in a couple months from Mexico, this vid was really helphfull :)
I'm glad!!! Let me know what you end up going to!
Fun!
Thanks!!!
I was hoping to get some nice addresses for ‘real’ food, not desserts / sweets. Sorry, will have to check more ‘vegan food’ videos.
There’s lunch and dinner places in here. It’s not ALL treats :)
