how does it sounds in comfort? I live in an urban area and only drive sportmode on freeways/highways. don't like to be obnoxious while driving locally. also is the startup in comfort? might be to loud for my neighbors lol
Just ordered pretty sure it’s going to sound good on my 21’ configuration. My car was already loud and popped with the stock exhaust, if you watch some of the b58 aficionados -well versed, they will even acknowledge that many of the b58s BMW factory tuned are INDIVIDUALLLY different.
@@pipikakachu yes, normally anything done to the engine will void the warranty, but you can normally avoid that by swapping back to stock before taking it in. On the other hand, after market exhausts don't void the warranty (I'd still do research).
To answer your question, yes the 2020 does burble and pop as stock. Sport Plus mode. Or it can be very quiet and efficient. Comfort or Eco modes. The car is a chameleon.

@@pipikakachu my 2018 440i got b58 and it literally pops and bangs on every upshift and downshift no matter how fast I'm going.

It closes/opens depending if it’s in comfort or sport. There’s no separate key but I think you can buy one from Dinan
I’m confused should I go for the MPE or Dinan for my 2021 bmw m340i xdrive? Which one is the louder one?
MPE keeps your warranty intact, not sure the Dinan does.
