Was there an extra charge to bounce the pry tool off your paint? :(. I would have been pi$$ed. Hope your new windshield holds up better than the last one.
makes me not want to use that company. Drops a sharp tool on paint, uses painter's tape to try to protect from a cutting tool that cuts through sealant then lets the windshield drop on painted parts of jeep once cut through. That was hard to watch. There is a fellow that just doesn't give a hoot about people's stuff.
So. If the old gorilla glass cracked in 3 months, which is telling me it's no better than a regular windshield. Then I suppose gorilla glass just is not worth the extra cost. I have a 2013 and finally needing to replace my factory windshield. So not going with gorilla. Especially seeing how they didn't honor any type of warranty for you.
the GG was only a $200 or so option so many people just got it on order, but it essentially perform the same or possibly worse. I think corning don't honor such warranty because fca got the glass at whole sale pricing and corning would just lose money.

i have a 24 with gorilla glass. rock hit me yesterday and did the same amount of damage as your original one. no big difference that i can see so far.
