The last 2 tracks really hit me hard. I got into VTubers right around the time Sana was graduating, so it really hits my emotions hard. Back then, I had no idea what a "graduation" meant for VTubers, so when I looked it up, my heart sank. We all miss her, both old and new fans alike. I hope she's happy wherever she is now.
Every one of the talents commenting on how much of a banger the music is, and it's true. Daydream being turned into an amazing BGM music not once, not twice, but three times is exquisite! But, even after all the amazing boss music, the Sana-related stuff perfectly carried all the emotions we had. The loss, the regret, the joy, the acceptance, the wistful longing...
I have just seen +14 hours worth of Councilirys rpg content and music was a joy to listen to, from start to finish, thank you for this, incredibly lovely

Does anyone know the genre or type of the two synth wind instruments played in Fauna's theme at 16:32 and 16:45? I'm somewhat music illiterate but I've been looking for these two for a long time, especially the second one. Absolute favs of mine. Some broad classification or even something specific would be of big help
They are both pan flutes, patch 76 in the gm midi preset. These ones in particular emulate the sound of the Roland Sound Canvas that originated back in the early 90s. The genre is probably closest to Andean/Peruvian flute music.

I just started looking a bit into what you shared with me though and see that I have a lot more to uncover now. Do you know of a good resource of learning about synth sounds and their origins? Particularly 90s era and maybe early 2000?
@@Swarmish I don't have any references for synth information, I mostly just picked it up along the way. I recommend learning about General MIDI to start, specifically the Roland and Yamaha sound modules.
