I started an internship for Interior Design this week (with not a second of time spent on AC) and the person I’m shadowing is out on vacation so I have been devouring your videos to learn archicad all on my own. You put SO much content in every video, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Haha i really hate those orange lines too! This isn't autocad we don't need coloured lines! Wish AC would get rid of them. Great vid David, been looking for tutorials to upskill my AC knowledge and you are really easy to follow and understand!
Hi Bet ... see my comment to David ... Get rid of the horrible orange outlines permanently with Model View Options/Miscellaneous Settings for Library Parts. I hate them too :-)
Thanks, David - I'm about to start my second semester in Residential Drafting, your instructional videos have been a massive help so far. I'm learning more from your videos than my actual course, sadly!! Cheers
Your videos have been exceptionally helpful as I've been learning Archicad. Thank you. Using your trick for creating an independent story for the ceiling/floor between levels is great, but I can't get stairs to run continuously from the ground level to the 1st floor because Archicad thinks there is an intermediate floor (the ground floor ceiling) and won't run stairs through multiple levels. Do you have a trick to get around that?
Hello Mr David am an archicad learner and I find your videos very knowledgeable, how can I follow your tutorials from introduction to the end, am using archicad 20.following you from Kenya. Eager for your response. Thank you
The default for wall types depends on your template, if you download the international template from Graphisoft website they’ll be similar. They are setup for most common wall types in your region
Haha yeah I know, it's just that I used to start with blank templates so I could show everyone exactly what to do everytime. Developing a custom template for everyone to follow along with now just taking some time
@@DavidTomic Yep ... figured you would know that! You also call for pressing the D key to enter a distance in the Pet Palette ... not necessary if the distance is top of the list.

You can also change the pen color from orange via pen settings so all number 3 pens will be the color you changed to.

Hi David. Have done any videos on archicad layers? I am really interested to watch your tutorials on archicad Layers for use in Twinmotion Phasing
Haven’t made a video on this. My layers are all construction focused not presentation
Where is the continuation of the design. The full design tutorial
In the next video please show us more of your keyboard so we can see what you are doing ! Have a Nice Day
Unsure how much more I can show you since there is a shortcut bar in the video now with every shortcut I use? Any suggestions would be appreciated
I dont see "Wall-External" or "90mm Stud Partition" in my drop downs please help. Good work btw.

There currently is not a course per day, but you can learn a lot by simply just following along tutorials
Great ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
love your work,.....but can you show us how to have a good hdr rendering using archicad alone
Very challenging in my opinion better off using twinmotion with Ray tracing
@@DavidTomic thank you David, but we're having challenges here in Nigeria downloading that twinmotion
Excellent.. Plz can i know how open new file version in old version archicad ?.. Thx
You can’t. You need to open in the latest version then save it to an older version and so on until you get to the version you want.
@@DavidTomic Great. Is there any video explain that ?.. Thx
Hi make the display screen more visible. Thank you for your videos
Check a newer tutorial :)
Hi David your doing a good tutorial it helps a lot but my question is how to make animation in archicad?

Check out my new archicad course, this might be a better pace :) first six episodes are out with more to come
@@DavidTomichow can I get it
Please you talk to fast and make the steps to fast so i have to stop the vidio in every 2 sec. Please can you slow a litle bit. thanks for your videos
Just reduce the video speed to .75 or .5 :)
"Under 20 minutes" but the video is 21 minutes and 19 seconds long
How long is the actual tutorial part if you take away the intro and outro?
Dang metric system
