    As a man just learning, your videos are very helpful. I've watched a few videos now and have learned so much more than the sewing class I took. Thanx for the tips and techniques. Awesome!

      Oh wow, I apologize that you have had some bad classes that you may have paid for. I hope this doesn't put you off ever attending another class. Thank you sew very much for your comment.

    What an amazing lesson. I have the Lyric, but the two machines are very similar. I appreciate your knowledge and that you shared this lesson with me!

      Thank you so very much for your comment. Yes the lyric and soprano are very similar. The soprano is the next machine up from yours. I have that pivot key I'm always going on about. Lol. So worth it.

    Thanks for these videos. I love my Soprano but haven't found many videos explaining its features at all. I've used it mainly for quilting but now I think I'll do some garment sewing. I was hoping you'd show how to use the buttonhole foot and here it is! If it's in your plans would you please show how to do an invisible zipper? I know you have a video using the serger but I'd like to see it on the Soprano. Thanks again!

      I do have the zipper videos saved up, I'm so glad that I've helped to widen your experience with the Soprano it's a wonderful machine. Thanks so much for your comment Marina and I will be doing this video next Wednesday as per your request. My previous video was using the Elna machine not the serger, but apparently it can be done on a serger also. So I guess I will need to da that video at some point to. lol.

    Hi Cassie, how ate you? I have a small problem That is, mine is one step button hole system , in my brother machine. Just last week, I made button hole on hand bag flap. Oh worked well. But today, I tried on , it's getting stuck and stitching on the same spot and not moving. What might be the problem. And how to fix it? :)

      Do you have enough stabilization. If you are doing a buttonhole with one layer of fabric then you need a tear away stabilizer underneath.

    Thank you for your easy to follow videos. I just got a Soprano 1 week ago. I've lowered the feed dogs, but now unable to raise back up. I did find that once they are lowered, push the feed dog switch back to the up position and move the needle knob toward oneself. But that is not working. Can you help me out? Thank you!

    • @FaodailCreation
      @FaodailCreation  4 года назад

      When you lowered the feed dogs you used the switch at the back of the machine correct? If you did then all you should need to do is move that switch back again and they should be raised back up again. The switch should be in the left position. There is also a free motion setting in the setting part of the soprano on page 6 of 9 as you scroll through make sure that is switched to off. Let me know how you get on.

      @@FaodailCreation Thanks for fast response. Yes am using switch on back also checked the free motion setting and it says off.

      @@terrie698 make sure your presser foot is raised up, make sure that switch is in the left position on the back, then do a full turn towards yourself and you should hear them come back up into place.

    Hi Cassie. Mine is one-step button feature. It comes out good. But, I want to get thicker button hole. How to do? And, after opening the hole with a ripper or snipper, minute frays of thread or fabric is seen know?. How to avoid this & get more neat finish?

    • @FaodailCreation
      @FaodailCreation  4 года назад

      To stop the frating we have a fluid called fray check that you can put on the button while before opening.

    • @vandanasanjay4032

      Is this Fray Check liquid available in all tailoring accessory shop? Should I ask him as 'Fray Check ' liquid only? :)

    Hi Cassie, my machine had one step button home feature. The settings, are. Length Between F & 1. Width Max 5mm & tension 4. It will be coming nice only. Seeing that , I decide to sew it on the main fabric, on which I want to do, one problem arises. When the foot comes back, it will getstuck in the middle. I am not able to understand, what may Bethe problem. I am sure, you will have the actions to these problems. Plls tell know, what may be the cause for this problem.? :)

    • @FaodailCreation
      @FaodailCreation  4 года назад

      You may nerd to put a tear away stabilizer underneath. The fabric is probably a little too light

    • @vandanasanjay4032
      @vandanasanjay4032 3 года назад +1

      Oh, I see
      You mean to say, that if the fabric is too thin, the foot will not have grip to do its work. Right? :)
