Thank you so very much for that explanation. Indeed you are an amazing teacher. You have made it very easy to follow that even one doing it for the first time can perfect it. Great job.😊👏👍❤.
Thank you for explaining & showing the difference that the dial settings make! I’ve avoided button projects because I could never get them to look “right”. Now I know better. I also appreciate your direct & concise teaching style!
Omg this tutorial has freed my spirit. You have shown me the action i needed to do that was plaguing my sewing life. I gave up and went to snaps and hooks only. I can now do a shirt properly. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Whew a God send
I've watched several videos on how to do buttonholes , but yours is the ONLY one that explained it properly! Thank u! I'm so happy I know how to do this now. You're an incredible teacher.💞
I've gone my entire adult life....not knowing that these feet and settings existed (and I had all the things I needed!) TYSM SEWING QUEEN. All my friends and family are about to get an onslaught of pillow cases
I have been seeing for over 15 years professionally and never knew how to use the one step button hole feature. I’ve always wanted to know. Thank you!! You’re amazing for sharing. ❤
I watched three videos now and you’re the only one who told me I need to adjust my width and length of my stitches. Thank you, thank you and thank you. Did I mention thank you?
I love your videos and attitude. I'm not quite there yet, I'm definitely a beginner and just getting to know my sewing machine but videos like this give me something to aspire to😊
My mom and all her sisters were ( they still are) so talented at sewing and quilting and make it look so easy. I wish I'd paid closer attention and asked more questions when I had the chance. I'm still figuring out everything on her machine. It's not as easy as she made it seem (get it, seem/seam?) 💖😂
This video has been so helpful. I too have been sewing for many years but avoided buttonholes as much as possible. So happy to have found this video, it help to simplify the process for me.
Thank you. I couldn't even do a nice buttonhole with the buttonhole presser foot---I learned a lot from you. Love the Fray Check tip, too. That never occurred to me. Thank you. What a great teacher you are!
I've been getting frustrated watched several videos and this one was the most thorough thank you for including the settings. You truly helped me learn something new today! Have a blessed day! You made me sew happy :) Cheers 🍹
I just wanna say thank you for explaining step-by-step on how to make a buttonhole. I watched multiple videos and none of them helped me whatsoever. But your video was clear and understanding! So Thanks!!
Best explanation I've seen yet. Also first one that has made me feel capable and undaunted. Thank you kindly. You're a gem. Been sewing years and avoiding buttons. Feels like there was nothing under the bed for all the drama I was giving the boogee man.
So I had some bay windows I wanted to put the associated gold curtains I sewed years back flush up against the glass instead of on the interior wall. And I needed extra Hooks because of all the turns in the geometric design of the windows which obvious came up at awkward spots in the curtains. So I had to divide all my panels by three and below the rod channel add in button holes in gold thread to insert the additional Hooks under the rod to hold it up. Started and finished today. Some great some a wee messy and that automatic button hole function be playing games. But all done and hidden and serving their purpose. Thanks much.
Wow, now I understand why companies hire models to demonstrate their products! The way you explain and your whole manners make me so attentive to listen and watch! Thank you so much!!
Thank You! I watched several videos and knew how to use the button hole attachment, however, my button holes were awful looking. You were the first to show machine settings and that made all the difference! Perfect button hole!!!
This is the clearest and most helpful button hole tutorial I have ever seen. I just made my first successful button hole after literally years of avoiding it after horrible screw ups.
I have been having problems making button holes. thank you for all your advice. I will have to do it manually as my sewing machine is a very small I had problems with other sewing machines with the stiching .Thank you
oh My Goddddd. The button hole lever! The lever! Omg. You have no idea how many times that ruined something that was literally almost done. Thank you so so much.
I love your video, you do it with enthusiasm, my mother always taught me how to use a sewing machine since I was a little boy and I believe I have come a long way so I learn new things quickly when it comes to sewing machines, I don’t why but I love using sewing machines and being able to fix different clothes
Thank you! I too avoid any buttonhole projects because they have been so challenging. I will try today on a romper made for my daughter. Nice to have a manual alternative. Appreciate the speed and no nonsense ' cut to the chase" video.
god bless you sweet lady i’ve been on the verge of tears for the past hour trying to finish up my first button down shirt (and first garment of clothing i have made, ever), and this helped me sO much 😭😭😭 thank you!!!!! 😭🤩🥰
Cannot thank you enough for this! I was dreading some buttonholes I needed to do on a project. I had made so many crummy ones and then I found your video. So helpful! The buttonholes came out GREAT and the project is done and finally ready to give away. Thank you!
I'm pretty new to sewing anything serious, and I decided that this project calls for buttons before I realized I didn't know how to do a good one. :) Thanks for even explaining the obvious stuff, like how to cut the button hole open. I appreciate it.
Beautiful!😊 Usually I avoided button holes using snaps clips and ties instead Now with this video I have the know-how to implement a different option. Thanks
LOVE IT! I use a wood carving slanted chisel type knife and cut the whole with that. it work real good for me. i have also used a sewing small shears as well. The pin trick has saved me a few times with the shears, thanks again. keep making videos they help.
Oml its as if you just read my mind lool. Going to try this out! Ive been stuck on my project due to not having a button hole foot for my machine and you've just answered my prayers!🙌🏽 love you girl.x
I'd actually like to make button closures for some home sewing, like pillows, but I've been nervous ... this is awesome! Thank you! Hugs everyone from Nevada, be safe!
Ive been handsewing button holes for years now because i waz terrifed of using my machine one and breaking something. Thank you SO MUCH for doing this and making it easy ti understand
Thank you sooo much! I was afraid but not anymore 😊. Such great tips, especially the pin at the top to stop the seam ripper from ruining the whole thing! 😊😊😊😊
20 years ago I was sowing a lot. I had a pattern custom made of a really nice long coat (and pants) and bough hand woven silk, jacquard like, for it. It turned out beautiful, but I messed up one buttonhole, so much so a tailor couldn't mend it. Since I have avoided sowing anything that needs buttonholes. Now I decided to sow them again, but this time by hand.
Thank you so much! That video was extremely helpful. I couldn’t figure out how to set the dials for tension, stitch width/length, so it was NOT working. With your video I have a perfect button hole! You just saved me a whole lot of time!
Wow thank you!! You made that look easy. I have a brother machine but I don’t think it has a place for buttons. I’ve always wondered about button holes and thought they where too far over my head. I’m going to try that manual one. Oh! And I did subscribe 😁
thank you ahhh! I learned how to do buttonholes in school but was on a much older machine. I have been nervous about doing them on any other machine because the instructions are hard to read etc. I have the buttonhole foot and I have just ignored it until now, so I'm going to use your video to help me use it for real.
Thank you! I have some lightweight overalls and I need to reverse where the buttons and buttonhole are. I was going to take it to the dry cleaner tailor, but I think I can do it at home now!
Yes! I am 78 and have been sewing since I was 10 years old. But I definitely had a buttonhole phobia! So your video was very helpful. I even found a One Process Buttonhole Maker in my attachments! Do you have a video explaining what all of those crazy looking attachments are for? Thank you!
Awesome video, thank you! I may have to make some manual buttonholes but I’m going to try a few of your tips to see if I can get my automatic buttonhole foot to work on my stretch denim.
Thank you for this confidence boosting tutorial 😁 I've been practicing following your video, but the left line us much tighter than the right. Any suggestions to make them more even?
So I guess the 4-step is the same process as the 1 since you didn't demo it? Thank you though for what you did show. 👍🏼 Now I know how to use my buttonhole tool properly. I knew what I had done was totally correct because it was so difficult to use.
Omg I’ve tried so many RUclips videos back and forth to my machine, having no clue what to do as everything seemed right …. I didn’t know to push the leaver back you are great to learn from (I guessed now that’s why it says push) haha
Omg! I had never been shown how to use this! You inspired me to figure it out on my own machine today! Had trouble finding my reset (i have a Kenmore and it was on the stitch selector dial instead of pushing the lever back) but I totally nailed it! Thanks Angelina!!! ❤️
I boughtn the Singer touchtronic just for the buttonhole alone, its the first computer sewing machine they made comes perfect all the time no hassel whatever size buttonhole , that machine paid for itself never had any trouble with the computer never repaired Also have a Necchi Supernova love them all
I hve purposefully avoided any projects that require buttonholes precisely because of my fear of them! This video is inspiring me to try it!!!
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁
