This is a quick guide and comparison of 5 different cruise lines solo cabin's (NCL, Royal Caribbean Virgin Voyages, Carnival, Celebrity). For solo cruises it is known how expensive things can be due having to pay a single supplement fee (or double) but if you choose one of these cabin's you'll be ok. I've actually never seen one of those Royal Caribbean solo cabins - looks great! I've cruised in both the Virgin and NCL options, and do think NCL wins from my point of view thanks to the studio lounge etc - they're making travelling solo feel so much more luxurious than the other lines!
I know, it's crazy! I still feel like all cruise lines outside of NCL and Virgin and unsure if they want to go forward with the solo traveler accommodations but we will see.
Love this. I travel on Carnival; they do have glass shower doors on the newer ships.

I'm a loyalty Norwegian solo traveller - they are great. In meantime they have on all ships solo cabins in different categories.
Note: When searching for solo cabins - doesn't matter which cruise line - just set filter on 1 guest, then you get all options.
You're welcome! That's great. I was exclusive to NCL myself until I started to venture out. They really changed that game by adding all categories of solo cabins on their ships. I was able to get a very good price for the pride of america that i have coming up in exactly 2 weeks.
Now, as far as the filter for 1 person. It works, but you also have to be careful. With other cruiselines outside of ncl, doing that will double the price. Ot like some cruises are doing is saying they're "sold out" when you try to book solo. It's not sold out they are just restricting it.
I've talked about it in other videos, but that is also why I enjoy NCL. Thanks for your tip.

You're welcome! NCL does a really good job with their solo program. Even ships without solo cabins. I highly recommend it.

Lol. I can't say that I've ever had a reason to use one.
What contributed to not being the biggest fan of Virgin Voyages? Other reviews I've heard for that line have been very positive.
I made an entire review if you want the full story. My issues were pretty cut and dry. Horrible customer service, terrible entertainment, the ship was boring for occasional drinkers, and lackluster organization. That was in December of 2022. Things may have changed but that was my experience.
