I absolutely love that we get to see this tournament finally.. however with the rights DGN has on delayed release and winner spoiled, I'm not exactly interested in watching as I usually do. I also have to add that I got into disc golf from watching interesting tournaments such as the USDGC and the European open. Now these are locked behind pay walls and probably now stiffling the growth of the sport... the exact opposite that DGN is going for. I know they want to grow the sport, but when it costs the same as Disney+ and lucky to have 480p, blocking access to popular tournaments, that's a very hard sell.

One idea that could be implemented quite easily would be to add spoiler alerts in the videos to quickly skip that part of the video. NVM the commentators are all hollow. You recorded it in a hall filter setting or a large room with one mice or something but you guys should not let this happen. Paul sounds better for some reason. unfortunate but honestly for me almost unwatchable. Audiophile here. Apologies just pointing out production errors that the team can benefit from being better. if you were one of the spotters for this tournament, you did a good job, no waving with the flags so we cant see which color it is, no goofy running over the fairway whenever someone lands in-bounds

Disc golf fanbase is full of cry babies. People say that pay per view is not growing the sport but the european open had most media coverage than ever before and it was wached by more people than ever before in dgn and in nokia
All this cash grabbing and manipulation of dedicated disc golf viewers makes me not even want to watch this tournament. It even makes me consider not following the DGPT anymore...way to crap on the bed of what once was an awesome sport to watch.

That's what happens when they don't earn enough money to keep doing it for free. They had to sell their channel or close it down. By doing it this way they can still provide it for free on RUclips, but might be on a delay.
Audio is awful, like they were crammed in a 1m2 box. Add that to unacceptable delay and you get the worst Jomez vid to date. I take this as a sign of things to come. Wouldn't be surprised if they stopped providing next day coverage entirely in a couple of years. New startups will be blocked by the PDGA and DGN to protect the monopoly position of DGN.
That'll backfire. You try and funnel all these Jomez watchers into your paywalled, 480p, bad commentary, DGN garbage and watch people stop watching and just go play. I like watching the events next day on Jomez but with the hostile take...... errr I mean "aquisition" of Jomez I don't see this ending in anything but greed.

Pretty sure they said on live coverage that the delay in Jomez coverage was due to unique media rights for the European Open that forced them to wait 10+ days to release coverage.
