Can never have too many tractors. My grandfather has 5 Allis Chalmers, an Agco, a John Deere, 2 Simplicity lawn tractors and 2 John Deere gators. I’m trying to add to the collection myself!
What year is the 560? Back in the 70's, We had a 404 with a loader, 460, 560, 856 from IH, a Massy Harris 44 special. A Oliver 60, on our farm in Stuyvesant NY. 400 acre dairy farm. I miss that.
I remember watching your video when you had fuel problem with the 560, I'm sure I mentioned to you to check the cap to make sure it was venting, looks like that was the problem all along, glad to see it running strong for you. I'd keep that one in your collection! Definitely a great backup tractor!👍I would like to get a M and 966, wifes goi ng to throw me out lol Take care Bud!
You did a great job on that 560, she looks and sounds good. I'm usually of the opinion that all tractors should have mufflers, but that one doesn't sound bad. I don't think I've ever heard a D282 with a straight pipe before! We had a 656 diesel so same engine (and same view over the same hood), but I don't even recognize the sound, it's so different without muffler. Sounds good though!
Nice 560D. Those 282's purr like a kitten. Glad to see it running again. Do you have any experience with the d310 German diesels? If so what are your thoughts on them. I bought a 1967 706 with the D310 in it about a year or so ago. Did an in frame overhaul on it along with a bunch of other new parts. So far it seems like a pretty stout engine. Great job on the videos. Always enjoy watching.
I really like the D310 engine. They held up pretty good. The only thing we found is to make sure the antifreeze is good and if it had it on, change the filter. Sometimes those engines had pitting issues inside the block. They do cost a little more to overhaul than an IH engine. But with that said they are good engines.
I had to edit this video down a lot, it was close to a half hour. I did say in the original version after harvest I may put it on the harrow and do some tillage so it gets some work
I'm a firm believer in having a tractor for each day of the week, you need a couple more :) I have 7 right now - Cub, H, 450, 1086, 1486, WD45, Ford 871.
I know the feeling, I keep watching grain prices move down. Don’t really know how much yield I will have. Not in the mood to buy anything until after harvest
Just a quick tip... never ever slip the t/a in and out. They were designed to be shifted quickly and under load. That is the main reason why the t/a will go out.
@@jamisgood21 just because you work for a dealer doesn't always mean you know everything. If you watch, he's slowly pulling back on the handle, which is what destroys the clutch pack in the t/a. It wasn't meant to insult, just help a fellow IH enthusiast.
About 25 years ago you could get new gas caps for all IH tractors free, i think it was something about a lawsuit. Was only for gas models, but the cap is the same for diesel. I sent for several by getting serial numbers off junked tractors. Lol.
That 560 would look sweet without that exhaust and air cleaner on hood . Would be full vision like the new1s, could run chrome exhaust back to the rear wheel and up . Just and Idea
Dont evr brake agenst powr tu see if tha klutch iz gona slip-u kan tear tha rear end owt & tha pinyun gear!!!😠😠-strting owt in 5th gear direct tests tha klutch plenti& kan easili kill tha enjun-but dont run full throtl(yull heat tha klutch up wae tuu much)-strt out at 1/4 throtl tu manetane klutch life
I'm glad the 560 is working it still would be cool to see some flat top fenders on her God bless and be safe
I feel that. I love tractors too go crazy. I wish I could buy a million tractors

Glad to see the girl up and going
Sweet! I love that 560. Sweet sound. I have a 404, not as sweet but man it works and pulls.
Fuel cap! It's amazing that the simplest things can be such a pain when diagnosing a problem. Glad to hear it run. Now for a turbo! Lol

What editing software do you use ?
That sure is a sweet sound!
Time to see it do some work (when the opportunity arises)

Haha, I will be right over for it!
560's are the best!

Good back up.and yes it will.maybe a bit slower.but yes it will.
560 sounds good.maybe she fixed now. Sounds like good insurance to me. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
You can never have to many tractors!! There are quite a few I have my eye on, but there is no money in the budget this year.
I know the feeling, I keep watching grain prices move down. Don’t really know how much yield I will have. Not in the mood to buy anything until after harvest

I reckon he knows plenty about T/A operation, as he was a CaseIH dealer mechanic.

No worries. Might have been part of the stress test.
Changed my b414 glow plugs for a mercedes style . It will start now in 10-15 seconds. Used to take a minute or more
Dan Hay will they work in a D282?
Get a bigger building if that one gets full!!! Very nice 560D.
sounds great
If you put a a 1066 starter on the 560 diesel it makes them start a hundred times better because it rolls faster
where did you get that stack i really like the long curve
I think it was from all states tractor parts

Haha I think I remember hearing about that. Don’t blame you for getting some extra.
that's a really nice place
Once u get in the seat.does first hit ur leg. But they were one heck of a good tractor. She wants to work
You can never have to many tractors! Stupid question but was is T/A on the farm all? !?
torque amplifier
Thanks 👍
Sounds great when you first start it, it sounds like a 2 cylinder John Deere!
Now, as a mechanic, you SURELY DID wipe off the dust on the old fuel cap and blow air through it with your mouth. Right????
Looks to be a lot of play in the steering.
How much do you about that tracker you drive a job der
I have a 560 but I need a carburetor float
I have 10 farmalls I am still looking for more
Farmall Land is great.
