she might be slower per bale but shes still faster than the mchale since you will produce 10-25% less number of bales during the day. mchale is an okay baler but shes not really been issue free and have never been a baler that makes good bales. atleast around here. might be why contractors like em, since they make so many bales and they charge pr bale.
Looks a mighty baler. Also agree on charging by the bale weight. You can make a bale of hay at 150kg or you could make one at 250kg. How is both worth 25€. Whether it’s silage or straw. All should be by weight and make the best biggest bales possible
how in the world are you making a haybale at 150kg ??? 2nd cut, no cutting, 81-84% dry matter and the Orkel HiQ / CNH Ultra baler fixed baler made us bales around 360-400kg a piece. i dont fully agree with charging pr kg though, cause what incentive do you have to make good silage/hay/straw? just bale it when its wet/damp and you get heavy bale but that doesnt mean a good quality bale/feed. did have a demo of this baler at my place and she impressed me not gonna lie but shes pricy and shes heavy so im curious. with one of these i could make 1,5m silage bales but those would be very heavy and might not suit the farmer down the line with logistics etc.
We bale wet and dry every year with belts and we make 5x4 bales. I like the balers over there I just don't like the 4x4 rolls. We run the original brand of the round baler the Vermeer 504r premium
why do you guys not use loader wagons instead of a forage harvester to pick up the grass/hay? i have always wondered what is the benefit of forage harvester instead of just loader wagons
I still think the bale transfer from the chamber to the wrapper should be quicker/ have less moving parts. Fusion is where it’s at👌

Going from 4ft to 5ft almost doubles volume. Then add another 25% to go 5x5.

Forage harvesters can lift grass a lot quicker and some farmers prefair having the shorter chop length of the harvester!
Looking forward to see that baler in action😁👍
Can't wait to show you how it goes
