How to make a Parallel lines flower arrangement

How to make a floral design inspired by parallel lines design using floral foam in a ceramic oval container.
This video forms part of a series called 1 container - 3 Designs
Today's design has been inspired by the the first video in our 'Back to Basics' series using the Line/vertical shape with parallel flower placements This design uses dyed birch twigs to create an outline which a simple selection of traditional flowers that are easy to purchase.
A great design that could be repeated using a mixed selection of flowers, garden flowers or just foliages.
The 1 Container - 3 Designs series shows how versatile a container can be in producing 3 totally different flower arrangements.

Hi Sharon, I’m seeing this two years late and the vocal quality now is so much better! Love the parallel design. Have you done one using sustainable armature? We still use foam at church but I’d love to champion other ways.

There are lots of tutorials that are using natural mechanics but nothing that I would call an armature, but I suppose that depends on what the definition of armature is. There is a whole series of tutorials on natural mechanics, so hopefully you'll find something with some inspirations. Hopefully the 'production' side has improved as the years have gone on and I became more confident with editing, microphones, lighting etc
