You were told there were two large grizzlies up ahead, but you don't even have any spray on your belts ready to go! or on your shoulder straps. Do you have death wish?
Man that video was beautiful thanks for sharing it! I feel the same way about seeing bears, I want to but then again I don't lol
Haha yep, a bit of a Catch 22 there!
First**** Love GNP but I've never been to the Canadian side! Looks amazing!!!
It really is! You need to get over there ASAP!
It sounds like you're mixing this up with Glacier National Park in Montana, which is a common mix-up. The "Canadian side" of Montana's Glacier National Park is Waterton Lakes National Park, in the province of Alberta. It is beautiful and well worth visiting on its own (it's about a three hour drive south of where I live). Canada's Glacier National Park is in the province of British Columbia, along the Trans-Canada Highway. Glacier National Park in BC is about a 7 hour drive from Glacier National Park in Montana, and you have to drive through three other Canadian national parks to get there!
Just thought I'd mention it, since I've literally seen travel articles in real magazines that list "Top 10 things to see in Glacier National Park" that are a mix from both parks!
Which trail is it? Is it the Asulkan cabin trail?Great Glacier trail ? Or Which glacier is it? Asulkan Glacier or Illecillewaet Glacier? Looks cool, I’ve been there but not on that trail. Great photography!
What carved the valleys Below where you are standing and when ?
What time of year was this, out of curiousity? Since our trip to Glacier National Park, Montana, was cancelled thanks to the border closure, we've been looking at Glacier National Park here in Canada as a trip option :)
This looks to be about mid august. There would be more snow cover up top in July, and there isn't any fall colour which starts to show at the end of August.
Looks like a fun trail! Great video
Some epic views for sure
