Michigan is definitely the most interesting and charming State of the US. Love by an Italian 💝
Who else watching this video live in the region✋
I live in Grand Haven, beautiful town
Holland Michigan here.
Grand haven here!
Grand Haven
Holland myself
I just did a trip to Holland, Grand Haven, and Saugatuck. I would so go back in an instant.
Saugatuck is my Hometown but I live in Holland now
Either way you are one lucky duck lol
Grew up in Holland. Loved it. Used to climb the dunes with my friends in high school and watch shooting stars
What's a good camp ground?
Where are you from?
This video was great. The narrator has a great voice like the classic travel programs of the 60s and 70s. Thanks
Thankyou for the feedback, I appreciate that.
Originally born in Ann Arbor. Raised in Grand Haven and lived there until joining the Navy in '89. Living in Texas and missing Michigan every single day.
My birth state is Michigan and I’m working towards moving back, thank you for this!
I lived in Holland Michigan for 14 years and surprisingly I found this video that made me feel very nostalgic I hope one day to return to that place and greetings to all from Mexico 👋
This was fabulous! Ive been away from my hometown of Grand Rapids for 20 yrs. Im thinking of moving back to the area. Just breathtaking! Thank you so much for this gift.
Thankyou Paula for the very kind words.
Did you move or not yet cos if not I will love you to take me with .... I'm so serious
Makes you proud to live in Michigan.
Maybe if not for our Dictator Governor which is DESTROYING Michigan!
Pure Michigan should hire you to go around the whole state! Amazing job, you helped me decide on some things to do when I visit.
Thankyou, yea we practically went around the whole state in 2018 with the exception of the Northern Pennensula
@@TampaAerialMedia Thank you for hightlighting the majesty that is West Michigan
With so many beautiful areas throughout the U.S., it is nice to see Michigan spotlighted for a change. This video shows the very best of what we here have always known (and perhaps taken for granted).
Yep Michigan is one of the most beautiful states, so much to offer.
Absolutely true - taken for granted. Also, Michiganders are really nice to know.
Thank you for showing us these underrated US towns!
Thankyou for the feedback.
I spent 29 years in Flint and Detroit and can tell you why this area is as nice as it really is. They are true to their northern European roots and values.
No they stay true to their Michigan values there's more than just northern Europeans here
Love my state.
Go Tigers.
@@TampaAerialMedia anything can happen in this short season. Tigers look good thus far. We shall see
Doc Holladay Greetings from a fellow Michigander!
@@MeettheGs greetings. If the tigers can't beat the Soxs and Indians we don't stand a chance
Thanks for this post. I've learned more about the great west michigan area. Detroit native but Currently living in Las Vegas and moving to the grand rapids area some time in 2023. Thanks again
You are welcome, you also might want to watch our recent video of Mackinaw City where we also show alot of western MI from Traverse City to Harbor Springs
Grand Haven the most beautiful out of all these little towns. They didn't show the beautiful homes downtown, people really take pride in their homes in this quant little town! I love it!
It was serendipitous, stumbling upon your video. I grew up in Port Sheldon and lived and worked, many years, in Grand Haven. As well as having worked a number of summers doing summer stock theater at the Red Barn Theatre in Saugatuck.
Now, I live in the San Francisco Bay area. Haven't grow out of the habit of living near the water. Enjoyed seeing my old stomping grounds again, after all these year. Thanks.
Thats great to hear, thanks for the comments. Yep I great up in the SF Bay area.
Thank you for the excellent video! It helped me to plan a visit to Holland with my hubby and 2 fur babies.
Thankyou Juli Anna, hope you and your hubby & fur babies have a great time, I think its perfect for a romantic gettaway.
I’m from Pentwater and later moved to Spring Lake....I love this lake!❤️
Lived all over Michigan. West Michigan is the greatest place to raise your kids! Ottawa County parks are awesome.
I can see that. Seems like a great place
@@TampaAerialMedia the culture here is the opposite than Detroit. My wife and I try to get to every Ottawa County park each year, it's not as easy as it sounds. The add one or two each year. We have a bond issue just for the parks and it gets approved every time.
We love to travel, and we always use RUclips to get live or video reviews of the area. By far this video is the best there is! I wish you have more reviews like this. Very informative, voice is very clear, narrating is not boring and information are available! Thank you for this.
Thankyou Buzzy for the feedback. Always tring to get better and better, I appreciate that
Went to Mackinac Island and Detroit ages ago. The whole western and upper peninsula is GORGEOUS. People think of Detroit and don't realize the architectural and natural beauty of these other places.
Yep, I agree, I think Michigan is one of the most beautiful states.
I think this is true. Mackinac Island was a fantastic experience, especially if you were there for the Boat Race. Of course, the FUDGE has to be mentioned. The Grand Hotel was a wonderful stay.
Thank you !! Felt like I was right there with you and Bella !!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love my hometown Holland 🥰 I've been living here since the age of 13 💕
I came here from Australia back in 2002 bloody loved this place you know it was bloody you know incredible As an Aussie it was interesting my accent confused some. .
Love the Aussie accent, great to hear from the land down under
@@TampaAerialMedia I loved Benton Harbor, Saugatuck, Traverse city and Holland amazing place i think i spoke to fast because people wouldnt get what i said but alot did say are you from Australia i said yeh howz it goin.
I was looking at coming to Michigan and this video has help me make a decision to visit this part of Michigan and view for myself on possibly moving there
Yea, I think western MI, is definately where it is at. Traverse City which we didn't show is also nice
Ok cool I will do some research... I am just trying to leave Maryland
I definitely want to visit western MI.
it is really beautiful here .
It looks very clean and pleasant.
My 4th great grandfather built the clock tower in Holland, MI. I hope to visit there someday when this COVID stuff is done.
That is pretty cool, yea love those vintage clock tower buildings.
Garret John Boone family owned a farm near Holland for over a century, many a good memory, if I had been a boy my name would have been Garret John Boone and I would gave grown up in Holland! Nice video.
I was just there 3 days ago. Love Holland.
Aweaome bro thanks for showing us the beauty of America 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😘😘
Keep it up brother ❤✌🇮🇳
Thank you so much 😀
Hello Randy, Every time I watch your videos I learn things. Your videos are very enriching. I live 250km from Amesterdem (capital of Holland). You are always welcome to come to us, I can show you around Amsterdam. It is an ancient city, rich in history.
yea maybe some day.
You did an awesome job making this video.
Thankyou Eva for the nice words.
I just found your channel today and I mediately subscribed. It’s awesome
Thankyou, thats great to hear welcome aboard.
No mention of new holland brewery or De boers bakery restaurant which is a must, no downtown shots of Saugatuck which is really cool. Missed some real gems.
yep you are correct. We should have went downtown Saugatuck. We were being paid to shoot Holland, and kind of rushed Saugatuck, wished we would have spent more time there.
TampaAerialMedia thanks for the reply. Saugatuck is very cool. Each of the towns you did are great. You should head north it’s even better all the way to the bridge and mackinaw island. Hopefully you will one day it will not disappoint it is beautiful.
God Bless you Man! It’s always pleasure to watch your storytelling!
I appreciate that Faud, thankyou, blessings back to you as well.
Nice 👍 I grew up in Grand Rapids can't wait for the video.
That was beautiful! I grew up in Holland.
Thankyou, great to hear from someone from Holland.
It's wonderful place. Thanks for bringing for us. (Brazil)
Such a helpful video. I’ve been going to this region for thirty years and I still learned so much!
Thankyou RJ
We live in the region, best beaches around.
Beautiful places, I love it! Thanks a lot for sharing!💗💗💗💗 Awesome video!
Thank you very much!
never been to Saugatuck and South Haven but been to Holland and Grand Haven. Love those 2 towns!
not to mention the great big lake!!
We have been all those places many times, very good video, drone footage was fantastic 👏 👌, enjoy watching your videos
Thankyou Gary, I appreciate the feedback.
This is a very well put together video. Thank you. Very informative. I have lived here in Grand Haven for a year now. Can't wait to check these places out! Thanks again!
Thankyou VB

Will be posting a video of Northern Lower Peninsula and Mackinaw City area in August
Beautiful and very authentic

What a great job on this video! I live in Mount Pleasant MI and have only drove by these places thanks so much for the great info. I am planning a visit soon. I didnt know about all this stuff you could do without owning a boat.
Yep, I'd reccomend renting a boat, its a great way to experience the area.
Thank you for all of the detailed info. I'm using your video to plan a trip to visit all 4 of the cities you highlighted in this video. (Your videos also helped me plan a visit to Hollywood Beach in Florida). Much appreciated!
Thank you Cindy, that's what we want to do...I appreciate you letting us know
I visited Holland when I was a young boy. Man has it changed. So beautiful still.
From gobles used to go to south haven almost daily to enjoy the lake miss it thanks for a reminder
Had been a Michigander 40 years, never been this beautiful place. Sure will be my next family trip.
Bellissimo!
Romantic vacations are good for the mind, body & soul. Fun memories.
thanks for this beautiful video
Thankyou for the nice words.
I lived/worked here for 3 years. Can't wait for Tulip time to come back!
Vacationed on the area last year......loved it!
Very nice, informative video of my hometown of Holland! You put in a lot of time and research....5 star review!
Thankyou Mark
Nice to see how things are on the other side. I live in Holland, The Netherlands actually. One thing we absolutely don’t have is a Vanilla Latte in our coffeeshops… At least not in liquid form 🤪
Great to hear from The Netherlands
Bella great job driving the boat👍🐾 Thanks for sharing the area👍😍
yea she does pretty good, thankyou.
I grew up in saugatuck went to saugatuck hi . I live south of Nashville now this is perfect to show my kids and hubby
Thankyou, if you haven't seen it we also recently filmed Nashville ruclips.net/video/XqEA9bK3H6s/видео.html
Nice, this is just in time. We are moving to grand haven in the first week of august. Cant wait, love it there.
Welcome to Grand Haven! You'll love it here!!
You'll love it, I wished I would have hanged around more and filmed more of it, but I wa being paid to film Holland.
Good luck in grand haven. Its a nice town. You have to go to Fricano's Pizza. Its the best pizza I've had!
Jeff Smith thanks, I will try it. There are so many restaurants downtown I want to try. The atmosphere downtown and along the water are what I live for. So happy my kids are going to grow up there.
TampaAerialMedia well, I loved the entire video. We have family in Holland. I’m very familiar with Holland and you covered it well. It’s hard to get everything. That entire stretch between saugatuck and grand haven is beautiful. The drone shots were very cool.
going to Holland, MI next week. mother inlaw grew up and lived there a great portion of her young life. we are going back to pit her brother to rest. I can't wait to see all the beautiful sights and hear her stories of how much she loves Holland. By the way she is 90 years young
Highly recommend the north side DeBoer bakery for breakfast/brunch! I love the south side one too, but that location is more of grabbing a quick treat/pastry. Farmers Market on Wednesday and Saturday in the AM; try Knot Spot Pretzel (they set up right next to the Civic Center downtown) for some AMAZING soft pretzels!! If you want to beat the heat, go see a movie at Sperry’s downtown. They have reclining massage chairs and can even bring a meal and adult beverages to you in the theater! Super clean and beautiful. Enjoy your time in Holland!
Thanks, that was useful. I'm heading that way on vacation soon. Driving around Lake Michigan to photograph lighthouses and ride my bicycle. May end up staying in South Haven for 2 days.
You might want to check out our Mackinaw City Video which includes Taverse City and Charlevoix, it mentions a couple of Bike paths, posted last Sunday
@@TampaAerialMedia Thanks. I considered Mackinaw city as part of my trip, but I would have had to make hotel arrangements months in advance, locking me into a schedule.
heading to Detroit today to film that city with the drone :)
You'll love it, much better than Detroit
I hope to see more historical gems like Holland
Wow is this area beautiful I wish I lived here! I’m from Wisconsin which is also beautiful especially up north but I will definitely come to Michigan and visit very soon.
Yep I think you'll like it, you can take one of those ferries from Wisconsin that is a great ride.
The Holland Tulip Festival is a big deal here every year, except this year. We are looking forward to having it again. And also our Thursday night street performers in the summer. Tiptoe through the tulips. Great job with the filming and production.
yep true, I would love to be there during that time of year.
Beautiful place, great video 👍
Many thanks
I need to live in city of Holland !!!
Jackpot! We're looking to retire to SW Michigan. I'm going to find your Grand Rapids video next. Thank you!
You also might want to check out our more recent Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island videos
I enjoyed you and your pup. I am from Michigan. You made me proud.
Thankyou Susan for the nice words, great to hear.
Amazing can’t wait to go see it ❤️
you'll love it.
I was born here . Spent my teenage years at the beach . Swam in lake Macatawa as a child , since it was a block from my childhood home.
Very well done!
You HAVE to do St. Joseph, MI! It's the economic hub of Michigan's West Coast.
Also Petoskey up North is definitely the most beautiful city in the Midwest!
Thanks for the tip. Yea would love to do some of the smaller areas like that.
Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Traverse City as well.
St jo? Really? It's a gentrified hub of nothing with a washed out beach and violence spilling in from Benton Harbor, but a FISH wouldn't know that...
@@irishman3375 Yes! Definitely Traverse City. That's my hometown.
Excellent video!
Thankyou for the feedback.
Thank you
*From Vietnam With Love 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳*
God bless Vietnam
MANY Vietnamese live in Holland!!....brought there from the Holland churches during the war!!
Geeeez I guess I should have bought up some of that old warehouse area in grand haven 45 years ago. I can't believe it's the same town I used to go fishing at. Wow!
It's great to know that Jimmy Stewart is still kicking!😄
Beautiful 🇺🇸❤️👑🙏🏻
thats funny seeing your dog drive the boat lol
safer than cars
I remember beach hopping all the way from St Joseph to Manastee and then visiting Mackinaw island our first trip scouting out Michigan. Many trips followed over a decade or so. Upper peninsula has even more to enjoy from the Soo locks to Whitefish point to Pictured Rocks national park to Copper Harbor. If you like lakefront vacation time you can't go wrong when the weather is to your liking. Being only 3 hours from the state line makes it nice for us to do a day trip or an overnighter camping in the car. Cheap fun for us.
Out of the area in this vid Grand Haven is our favorite. South Haven and St Joseph wins the day trip award with Warren Dunes and New Buffalo good as well. Don't forget to grab fresh blue berries when in season. Farmers markets in abundance are our preference for a quick lunch along the way. Many have fresh baked goods available.
yep the Upper Peninsula is so beautiful
Just moved here and we love it!
I traveled those areas for both business and pleasure for over 30 years having many friends and business associates living in all those cities. As a 55 year Michigan resident and a traveler to virtually every city/town in the state I always found this area one of the most enjoyable areas to visit. Having boated all the channels, rivers and lakes in the area it was the best. But I ask, what about Zeeland, Mi? Did you not find it attractive enough?
Thanks for the great video.
Yea had never heard of Zeeland, I guess that is also a city in the Netherlands as well, probably should have checked it out.
@@TampaAerialMedia Located right next to holland, inland side. Home of some of the best companies in the USA. By the way, your videos are perhaps the best available. Having been to many of the areas a lot you do a great job showcasing them.
What companies are you referring to?
@@Usafpararescue96 Howard Miller clocks, Herman Miller office furniture, Haworth Co, Mead Johnson come to mind right now.
@@larrycurran7005 oh yeah, you can't really visit them though.
Iv been there many times, absolutly beautifull area in the spring summer, and fall. The climate is wonderfully cooler in the hot summer. In the winter, nightmarish snow and ice storms off of lake Michigan! Thay can streatch all the way to Grand RAPIDS. Most Locals are of Dutch desent, I think you can buy your wooden shoes in Wall Mart!
Beatiful, God bless you
Thank you! You too!
Lived briefly in Saugatuck. great little town . Holland is great too. Grew up in Lake Odessa. Live in Wisconsin, but miss my home state. Go Blue!
We are going to be filming Milwaukee this summer
@Bob what would you say the biggest differences are between WI and MI? Looking at different cities to move to
@@stephanimeyers9570 Hi Stephani, both states have their benefits. The Michigan side, the coast on Lake Michigan is in my opinion more beautiful and a place to vacation. Here in Wisconsin we are the cheese state. Their are tons of jobs and I think the crime is less. Michigan has 10 million people, we have 6 million. Wisconsin has the better sports teams if you like that. Either state will work, I’m here because everything has just worked out here for work. But I’m only 2 hrs from the U.P. which I love as well. In the end, come check out Wisconsin and see if you like it. We have a lot of great places here too.
My Aunt and Uncle live a bit north of Holland on a golf course and go to Tunnel Park a lot with their grand kids
"cur-rah"** so weird and cool to see home town on here . Great town
Beautiful video. Suggest you check out the working Dutch Windmill in Fulton, Il. As i understand it, It comes from Holland and was built by Dutch artisans in the city of Fulton. It is a working windmill. My uncle came from Holland Mi. It is a beautiful city.
Might do that I do MI in the summer
Makes me want to move to Michigan
A good bakery in South Haven you should visit next time is called Bundes Good Eats on North shore drive they're only open Friday to Sunday 8am to noon but they definitely have very unique offerings.
Thats good to know, might go back up to MI in June
Is this a good place to move too from TN?
The only bad thing about Grand Haven is the expressway ends at a drawbridge that malfunctions at the worst times, and when it does you are sitting and waiting. I commuted there for 15 years, and I don't miss driving through it one bit.
they thought it would be a good idea to run the freeway right through town..... 😅🤣😂
Nice video I live in Holland Michigan would not live anywhere else
Salute West Michigan my home sweet home #HollandMichiganMySweetSpot
Beautiful Holland. Please 60fps. :)
