I was so inspired by how much you read a month, and so I pushed myself this month to read more. I went from reading 2 books a month to SEVEN this month!
Lovely vlog! I am so beyond inspired by the amounts of books you can read. I believe I have some adhd or something going on, as I haven’t been able to focus on reading book for a long time! You’re definitely such easy watch 🥰♥️
I enjoyed A Flicker In the Dark too. I gave it 4 stars. The Stolen Marriage sounds good. I am really interested in reading The Light Between Us. thanks for your reviews.
I read one book this month! Which is a milestone because i’ve read ZERO up until now! I got a Kindle paperwhite and it’s made it so much easier to read! I finished “Becoming” by Michelle Obama, it was so good! I’m a nonfiction fan
I usually read library books, but the books I want to read always have a massive waitlist. I don’t like paying full price for books that I’ll only read once, so I took your thrifting idea and went to Goodwill for the first time yesterday! I got Colleen Hoover’s ‘Reminders of Him’ which released THIS YEAR for 1.99 and ‘Regretting You’ for 3.99! 😧 I’m so excited to read them! 🥰 So happy I discovered your RUclips channel a few months ago. Love your content, Carter! 💗
I’ve also been loving thrillers lately!! 😍📖 I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend “the cabin at the end of the world” by Paul Tremblay, and “Eight Perfect Murders” by Peter Swanson! They are underrated thrillers that are so so incredible😍 And as always great video Carter!
If you loved “A Flicker in The Dark”, then you’re going to love “The Locked Door” by Freida McFadden!! Same kind of concept but the twist really did shock me, I wasn’t expecting it at all. Great video as always and thank you for all the books recs 🥰
I absolutely loved A Flicker In The Dark, I was so shocked by the ending. Another good read that I just recently finished is A Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose, if you haven’t read it already but it left me completely shocked and speechless at the ending.
With 2 jobs and your busy life.. bf etc how do you find so much time to read?! I love reading and I spend all my free time doing it ..but 17 is crazy impressive are just a super fast reader?💕
Yes by nature I'm just naturally a quick reader, always have been! But I just make time for it! I'm in bed by 10 and usually read for a few hours a night, I spend alot of my weekends reading since I'm so busy during the week and I prioritize it over scrolling on TikTok and watching a ton of TV! Everyone is going to be different!! But I do think being a naturally quick reader does help the most! Matt is also a big reader so having a hobby that we both enjoy doing together is helpful!
The Diane Chamberlain book that took place in Hickory, NC reminded me of this comedian, Jon Reep. He is from there and very funny (at least I think so) ;) Here's a clip from a tour he did in Montreal back in the day! ruclips.net/video/NSaD5pdK1WI/видео.html
I literally don’t understand how someone can read that many books in a month? Like how? Even if I made more time, like I wouldn’t want to spend that much time reading every day. Like it was a job
I just really enjoying reading! It's my form of self care and how I cope mentally! I use it to unwind and I just genuinely enjoy it. I think we all have different hobbies and it might not be for everyone and that's okay but let's support everyone and their own hobbies without questioning why they enjoy it so much♥️
@@CarterSullivan absolutely apologies I didn’t mean to come off that way. I just am so curious to understand bc it’s so different. I know a lot of people can read a lot of books in a month and it just confounds me bc I don’t relate at all to it but I think it would be so neat to be able to read so many books bc there are so many books to read!

Omg that's FREAKING AWESOME!!
17 books!! Yes queen!! I definitely need to get back into reading. I love reading, but I tend to get distracted and not make time for it.

That's amazing!! Thrifting books is so underrated 🙌🏻♥️
Can you say where you buy your books please?
Used bookstores mostly but also Amazon for my Kindle books (no other way to do it) or Indigo for new books!
Just finished A Flicker in the Dark yesterday. SO GOOD!
Right🙌🏻
*adds new thrillers to book list*
YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

I read two books in July 😅. I’m not a slow reader, just need to make more time for it! 17 is very impressive
We all read at different paces and that's okay!!

I read it a few months ago since her last book was one of my favourites and I was highly disappointed, I think I gave it 1.5 stars 😂
@@CarterSullivan oh shoot! 😂😂 I thought it was so good but there were a mix between the reviews - readers either hated it or loved it
What app do you use to track your books?

OMG what a coincidence!! 17 is always what I seem to get to, maybe it should be my new lucky number
