Newport Harbor Calico Bass Fishing & Bonito FEEDING FRENZY

Sup guys
This was from a recent family trip to the ol' US of A. I had the chance to hit the water at Newport Harbor of Newport Beach, CA on the jetties. It was some decent fishing, but everything was happening at the end of the jetty, and unfortunately I only had enough time to fish the end for about 20 minutes as I spent too much time at the mid section of the jetty.

I grew up fishing the Wedge, as we call it. Many Bonita runs back in the day and an occasional Yellowtail. I saw a small Dorado caught out there too.

@@nicholaschau6770 i think it depends...you can fish on the jetty with no license as long as there is water on both sides, so you gotta fish past the wedge..i was curious as well and that was the best answer i could find
