66 mph? Nice! Thats actually plenty fast enough. I'd keep it there. Man I have a baja 5t sitting in my basement collecting dust. Last time I think I ran it was maybe 13 or so years ago? Been wanting to do an electric conversion on it. After seeing what you did to yours I just may do it. 🙂
I absolutely love it. It's plenty fast but my goal is 75 mph. Just received some new gearing in today and will get some more speed runs in soon.

I honestly don't know cause most of the time I'm off road. These Trenchers are hard to find nowadays. Looking to get a set just for street but not sure what I'm going with yet.
Do you know a good place to get the same conversion you have. I've been looking but they are all from china and not sure if i should order from there. I have a baja 5b and i would love to do this. I watched your other video of the build but the link doesn't work anymore.

If you plan on going with 8s be sure to get 54t/20t gearing. You can find the gears on eBay, Amazon or DDM Racing. Brace yourself cuz this thing is a monster on 8s and it will drag this thing around like a ragdoll.

I'm not sure cause I bought it from a buddy of mine years ago. I'll ask him if he remembers and I will get back to you.

What gearing do you have in your baja 5b
Currently running 56/18 seems to be a good combo for this beast. Plenty of torque and top end isn't bad at all. It doesn't run hot at all.
