Real Washingtonians would welcome home the Redskins/ Commanders. People that's not from here wouldn't understand. It's a shame to have a baseball & soccer stadium in DC & not the Commanders.
Just say no to corporate welfare. The LA Rams owner Stan Kroenke built SoFi Stadium with his own money and that was a FIVE BILLION DOLLAR investment. If he can build a stadium with private financing so can the Harris group. There is no way normal everyday people should foot the bill for BILLIONAIRS.
There are two types of residents in this story. The ones that were born and raised in the shadows of the RFK stadium and the hybrids who only know the stadium as what it is today. I believe the residents should have a say, and if they say yes, then so be it. Don't be like Oakland. I feel the people that didn't support a new stadium there were hybrids who never cared for the team or history at all.
Also it will have a dome. That means Super Bowls, final 4s, nfl draft, concerts and events year round. If the owners get the RFK site they will be paying for most if not all of the cost, they will make sure it gets used to make it worth the investment.

How the hell is going to be a traffic problem? The metro station is right there! People will park where it's cheap at and just ride the orange or silver line to Stadium Armory station. Damn gentrifiers.
