My top two and only spots are Poplar Pointe and then RFK! Poplar Pointe is an all out better spot for the new stadium, bcuz it's right next to the river, it's directly across from the baseball stadium, it's right off the freeway, it's right next to downtown with all the high rise apartments, and that area is already used to that type of lifestyle. It would also be a nice view to see that big stadium from the freeway. RFK can be seen from the freeway, too, but it's not a better view than what Poplar Pointe would be with that large open area, with the river, the other stadiums, and the high rise apartments, etc. RFK is also off the freeway, and kinda next to the river, but not like Poplar Pointe. RFK is also a residential area that's no longer accustomed to the sports traffic, and for sure not used to nightlife. Poplar Pointe is across from all the apartments, and even then, they are already used to sports traffic due to two stadiums that's already there. Poplar Pointe is also great bcuz it's two ways to get there from both 395 and 295. The parking may be an issue there, though vs. RFK that wouldn't have that problem! Poplar Pointe is also right in between 2 metro stations, and down the street from a 3rd one. RFK is right next to one metro station. Overall, I think that Poplar Pointe is the best option bcuz it has more pros than cons! One last thing is that nothing has to be torn down for Poplar Pointe vs. RFK having to be torn down! Another thing is that most other cities have all of their stadiums in the same vicinity. Poplar Pointe would provide that since the other two stadiums would be right across the river from Poplar Pointe. It would even be nice if there was enough space for the new basketball and hockey stadium to built in the same vicinity instead of going to VA. These are D.C. teams, and they belong in D.C.! They aren't DMV teams! If VA and MD wants teams, they should buold their own teams. MD already has a team, so they don't need D.C.s team, too!
