I’ve really only ever used baking soda for baking, toothpaste, or refrigerator odor absorption. It would be interesting to try other uses. There are a lot of references to people drinking bicarbonate of soda for indigestion and other issues in old movies. Apparently it used to be way more common. I don’t generally do much for Memorial Day or birthdays anymore. We used to go to the cemetery as a family when I was younger to visit my grandfather’s grave and put flowers or flags on it. It used to be that nearly everyone knew people who were lost in the bigger wars but that’s probably not the case anymore so it’s not as personal as it used to be to a lot of people now.
Yes, baking soda has so many uses (100+ uses according to the Arm & Hammer box you held up), so it would be interesting to research all of its uses to apply as many of them to one's daily life as possible. :)
You should do a baking soda video. We didn't do anything special for Memorial Day. Marc had to work and it's already soooo hot here! I agree with you about people not seeming to "get" Memorial Day. Or disrupting Memorial Day parades. It's frustrating. I'd love to go to more parades if I lived somewhere else. Where I live we have parades but the crowds are so ghetto that it's not even worth going. I know that sounds harsh but if you were here, you'd get it. You know I believe in the rapture and Biblical prophesy in general so seeing an empty float representing the rapture - I don't know how I feel about that. That Japanese parade sounds like one I'd like to go to. The CD's sound very relaxing. Love the bowtie!

I also sometimes take apple cider vinegar for upset stomach....but the baking soda tastes a lot better, lol

Thanks. I've had that bowtie for awhile & hadn't worn it yet and figure Memorial Day is it! Expct to see it around July 4th too, lol.
