Enjoyed your Video. We love going thru Records as well at Thrift Stores. Just Started seriously collecting this year. Have Bought several for the covers. I have all genre's. I grew up in the 60's so it's a sentimental hobby for me.

There are pros and cons to those static kinds of shops. On the one hand you know not a lot of people are digging through those boxes/crates too often, but on the other they don’t tend to get new stock in as often either. I’m honestly a little surprised you didn’t already have Hawaiian Eye, even though it took me a good while to finally locate a good copy. It’s a record collector’s fantasy to stumble onto an entire run of LPs from an old label in great condition at decent prices like those Tops. I’m living a bit vicariously through your entire Phoenix haul. I haven’t scored a ton like that in quite awhile.

@@jackblondie9424 I was surprised at how much new stock was in those stationary shops from last year. Maybe with such a large elderly population here, they get more “dollar bin” stuff in

I also go to thrift stores and like to look through the LP's. However, I am looking for obscure folk records, which I rarely find in thrift stores. Of course you can find tons of Kingston Trio, John Denver, Peter, Paul & Mary but hard to find obscure folk singers or obscure folk groups from the 1960's and 1970's. However, if you are really into obscure folk records there are many people on EBay selling them, but I never find them at thrift stores or rummage sales or yard sales either.

Ha, ha, I am "old school" and still write checks everywhere, at grocery stores, dept stores and for bills that I mail. Only place in my area that doesn't take checks are restaurants and small independent stores. I do not do anything online when it comes to paying bills. I know..I am living in the dark ages, but I am just fine with that. 😊
