    Here are the steps to freedom:
    1. Journal in the third person to create a separation from yourself to gain perspective. Write all things troubling you until another part of you takes over beginning to solve your problems. It is fascinating that another self eventually shows up with the answers.
    2. Write down a list of all people who have hurt you. Create a session with each person using a pillow acting as them and have the conversation you never had to use your voice of power to make your wrongs right- your subconscious doesn’t know the difference.
    3. Begin meditation sessions twice a day. This will feel uncomfortable at first because your mind’s chatter will want to keep running you. In time, your mind will shut off and you will no longer be thinking and instead, be being. In this natural being state, joy will take you over. Continue this practice and joy will have ripple effects of love, acceptance, happiness, wholeness, self acceptance and self love.
    4. Continue to cultivate and nurture this new found relationship with yourself as you now love yourself and no longer need external validation.
    5. Appreciate this beautiful relationship with yourself and memorize this feeling because this is your new home that’s always available to you.

    I thought I would gain my confidence back once I lost weight and have longer hair. But wherever you go, there you are. And I simply didn't see the difference - I still thought I was too big with too short hair. So whenever I need a reminder to accept and love myself the way I am right now, I think of my current self as the goal. Because if I were 10kg heavier with 10cm shorter hair, I would give f*cking everything to look like me right now. It's simply unfair to yourself, to only compare you to "better" versions of you. I don't know if this will help anyone out there, but it just puts things into perspective for me.

    This hits. We start to feel if we're not "fit", not wealthy, not popular/charismatic, not sexually active etc. then we're doing something wrong. The only thing we do wrong is trying to be like everyone else because someone else said that's what's preferred or the way to be.

    2:45 A lot of you, raising your level of self-esteem means being okay, not being "Perfect," and realizing that "Perfect" is a constructed image.
    17:37 is that in the end, you're always left with the relationship with the present moment. You're always left with your relationship with you.
    21:18 make the present moment and the present you the goal, that's self-love. And that's also what leads to true change, 'cause otherwise it's always outta reaction.

    It's really hits, growing up in my area. I was always told that the self comes last and other people's needs first. However the people I've been around always told me to be more of a giver and never take to be selfless and not selfish to leave my ego behind that the ego was wicked.
    I changed groups and this particular group said that we have good and bad inclination. And sometimes the bad inclination is not always bad and sometimes can save your life not that you go out and do wrong things and rob and murder. Sometimes being selfish for yourself saves you from bad things from happening from people who want to hurt you. I found out this was true and on this journey I moved forward I still have a a lot on this journey however I'm better and on a better path.

  • @iamjoy888

    I love this! Such a healthy reminder. Especially, few points resonated:
    1. In altered states of consciousness it's amazing, because we're out of duality. I've been there and it's such a relief. But the point is to bring those realizations into daily life here, and not to run away from it. Plus, it's so true about hardships of operating a physical body in those states 😄 as I've once said, "You cannot even cross the road". So you are very right 😄
    2. So true about self -acceptance vs. self -denial. Once I was a raw foodie for 2,5 years and back then I was the slimmest I've ever been. Does someone think I was 100% confident? No, it always was not good enough. I never even stopped for a moment to appreciate myself RIGHT NOW. I enjoyed it, but still there's something I didn't like. And now being an intuitive eater, it's so much more loving to myself. But of course some part of me believes it was "better back then". What about NOW? I'm so more in tune with myself now at this point, so why should I compare? I am a process, not a product! (I've realized it after my psychedelic experience).
    Plus, when I look at any pictures of myself, which I don't have many, I see everytime was good, no matter what. But I have this trick or perception: RIGHT NOW it feels like it's not good. Only after a while I see all was good. Interesting! It is just a pattern of thinking that kicks in, and not actual reality.
    3. And yes, I've realized something similar about low and high states. Before the war, as soon as I went low, I accepted it after a bit of rejection, and thus I was in acceptance, and acceptance itself is a high state. When war started, I was low almost all the time, not to mention, all my past traumas or not fully healed pains tremendously enhanced. I then was also rejected by a person I liked, and giving all 24/7 stress due to war, that was also much harder for me than I thought would be, just because I'm already in so much pain. So it's a good reminder. Just to love my pains, the most difficult emotions, and not only being with them, but truly loving them. That's huge.

    Hey Julien, I love your videos, they’ve helped me a lot!
    Non-duality doesn’t mean that we stop being human. Non-duality is actually the inherent truth of existence. We are not fixed, limited entities, we just believe we are. Once we realize this, it frees us from our self-centerdness which is the cause of all our confusion. It frees us from self doubt and we become much more capable and kind hearted as a result as we live with the understanding that we are actually all interconnected.

    1. Connect/talk
    2. Walk them through because some people never got the “that’s good/ what you’re doing is good “ in practice( while doing the things)
    3. Teach them to build and learn from that
    4. Build their own lesson and conquer their own goals AKA. live life.

    • @NovaRadio-il4wb
      @NovaRadio-il4wb Год назад +1

      I've faced racism etc and it always happens to me in this country, solution for you is don't care. Be around the people that value you, and don't give back what these people dish out. Also provide facts, your mind can also make it worse. Let me put this in perspective, if you were homeless people would walk by and not care. Few might, so why do you care now, does this mean your not as important as others because you don't have a home? Nonsense, focus on what's important and what's not.

    • @scabiesandrabies
      @scabiesandrabies Год назад +1

      I am half Japanese as well but I think it is a good thing to be mixed race because I don't have an identity, which means I can see reality more objectively. Identity creates false realities, is the root cause of mental illness and prejudice. These people are overidentifying with a set of arbitrary characteristics and ignoring what makes them individuals, so they can't even see themselves accurately. Their evaluations of anything then cannot be trusted, as everything will be seen through the miscalibrated lens of self. You are absolutely not inferior and should not care what people who think incorrectly think.

    I disagree with some of the thoughts about non-duality, but you bring up many important points. Being able to thrive with whichever state of mind we find ourselves in is essentially non-dual and something ive been struggling with for many months now. Non-dual doesn't imply going limp from a body perspective, it means something more along the lines of letting go of the mind.
    The insight I found most valuable was that we as humans nearly always find ourselves in that gap between where we are and where we want to be. To become "enlightened" is to accept this fully. One cannot achieve the highest energies of love without accepting their lower state and working with that

    Hi Julien, I've come up with a question. I'm a VERY loud person. I worked construction (talking over loud equipment) for years, and I've worked in the equine industry, where I had to project my voice across an arena while riding.
    My family and coworkers tell me I'm yelling, when I'm not. That's just my "normal" speaking volume. I have another 6-8 levels I could go up, I'm NOT yelling, but I am loud in basic conversations. If I try to lower the volume, no one can hear me besides me. I can't seem to find a middle ground, where I'm loud enough to be heard, but not so loud they can hear me 2 tables over at a restaurant. How do you find that mid volume, like what you're using in your seminars?

    • @MsLadyhorse
      @MsLadyhorse Год назад +2

      @@Mustika86 yes, I've done all the hearing tests. There is some loss, but not bad enough to warrant aids, or my volume. It's not that I can't hear myself, it's just my way of speaking, especially when in a group or if there's background noise. Or if I get excited about something, and I don't always realize I'm getting louder until someone tells me to quit yelling. My issue is that to me, I'm not yelling, I'm simply talking. That volume IS my normal level, even when I'm alone with just my dogs and horses.

      Here's my opinion: Be honest but respectful. your feelings are incapable of causing damage as long as you don't express them negatively (as in spite, resent, hate etc.) if you feel anger, say youre angry, if you feel disappointment, say you're disappointed but dont attack him. Theres also many factors that play a role here (what are you like, what is your dad like etc) but if your intent is rooted in positivity and wanting to heal your relationship i'd say go for it.

    • @haileynichelle8343

      Look up Dr. Ramani and other channels on abusive relationships. If you are scared that your dad will physically hurt you for expressing your true feelings, don't be afraid to take steps to cut him out of your life. Your physical safety comes first above all else. You do not owe your dad anything. You deserve people in your life who will love you and listen to you without you having fear of being harmed. If you can't escape your dad because of whatever reason, keep your feelings to yourself. Maybe if you really want to tell him how you feel, try telling him your feelings in a public place where someone could rescue you if needed. Don't be afraid to call the police if he becomes violent. You deserve peace and safety.

    Hello i wonder what kan you do when all of the peppole is stuped 9 graders. That vandalizes things eatch week. I Don’t whana talck whit them😅 I,m a nine grader to. This is from the contest of the first ep i imrowe my social skils.

    • @haileynichelle8343
      @haileynichelle8343 Год назад +1

      Focus on getting the best grades you can. Learn as much as you can in school. The stupid 9th graders you're dealing with now don't matter. Once you graduate, you will likely never see those people again. Don't spend time with them if you don't like them. If they are vandalizing, quietly report them to a teacher or call the police if necessary. Be polite and respectful to all, but don't force yourself to hang out with them. Make efforts to talk to new people who might share your interests. Keep your record clean and live your life ethically. What matters most is your future and the person you want to become.

      I think that’s the point. The content of the message matters more, and it filters out those who would immediately judge him as not worth their time without even listening is my guess. If you resonate with the content, it matters not what he looks like.

    I am so impressed. Not only by this real time coaching, but 100% by this young lady being so willing and open to BE COACHED in front of so many people. This is the vulnerability we are all meant to have all the time with ourselves. Why do babies cry in public? Because they can and they are expressing a need. When did we all stop TRULY expressing ourselves? Amazing and truly inspiring for someone like me who really struggles with self confidence and staying confident in the face of adversity once I reach a good point. 🩷
