    I believe we can pay by ezlink card? Any idea what time is the earliest bus departing from Queen's Street as I hope to reach JB CIQ to purchase the earliest train ticket?

      Hi, yes you can pay the fare by EZ link card. Bus is running 24hrs, but there is different intervals during certain hrs. Normal Bus Interval 15 mins - 20 mins. Midnight service starts from 23:00 - 04:00, bus interval is 45 mins.

      @@thebiannualtravellers Thanks for the swift reply. Normally I take buses and mrt to Kranji station thereafter I take bus to JB.
      As I stay in the South eastern side of Singapore without mrt hence its very troublesome for me to go JB. This coming Monday I will try taking a bus in Queen Street to JB hoping to reach there by 8am to catch the earliest train.

      Ah i see, now that the bus is running 24hrs, should have no problem. But if you are buying tickets for train from JB CIQ to other states of Malaysia, you can actually do so from the KTMB website, we brought our tickets to gemas through KTMB website under ETS/Intercity section.

      @@thebiannualtravellers I can't guarantee I can reach there on time that's why I never buy online. I reckon the crowd won't b long.. See how. I always want to visit Gemas for a few hours exploring the old town but lazy to go. This time I will revisit Kluang maybe for 1 night then the next morning take a bus or train to Renggam

    From the Larkin Sentral (the endpoint of the bus route, I suppose), are there also bus terminal going to Kuala Lumpur City Centre?

      @@famelamacanas8216 yes, you will need to head down a flight of stairs after immigration to continue your journey to Larkin bus terminal.

    Hi, is my first time. So CW goes from queen street and directly to Larkin station? do I just board any CW bus after the immigration part? Thank you

      Hi, yes this CW bus goes from Queen street to Larkin station, retain your ticket to reboard any of the CW buses after Singapore immigration, follow by boarding back bus CW2 after Malaysian immigration.

      Hi, Singapore Citizen and Permanent Residents do not need to submit sg arrival card at both land checkpoints. For other travellers, you will need to submit the SG arrival card within 3 days before arrival in Singapore.

      Hi, currently they don’t do checks anymore, but no harm to bring along a digital copy of your vaccination certificate.

    How long did it take from departure at Queens Street to clearing immigration at JB?

      Hi, As it was around 7am on Saturday of a long weekend. The journey from the queen street terminal to Woodlands roughly took 30 - 45mins, it took us another 30mins to clear Malaysia’s immigration.

      Hi, We don't think there would be a problem with bring laptop into JB. There are some eateries like KFC at city square with free wifi for usage.

    Is there somewhere convenient in JB Central to get Ringgit cash out, or is it better to prepare and bring cash with me from Singapore?

      Hi, it's easier to get cash from singapore to exchange into ringgit, via money changers in singapore or in JB sentral. There are afew money changers in JB sentral, one located at the bus terminal and another two located in the JB sentral complex right after the immigration building, you will see many minimarts there.

      Hi, you just have to show the driver the ticket issued when boarding bus and you will be allowed up without paying again. Do remember to retain the ticket given.

    How long does it take including the stops at custom and immigration?

      Hi, it roughly takes around 30mins, depending on traffic conditions from queens street to woodlands checkpoint, 5 mins to cross the customs bridge from woodland to JB CIQ depending on the jam conditions. The time at both Customs hall, we are unable to advise, as it varies, depending on the time of day, to the day you are crossing.

      @@thebiannualtravellers Thank you. I've read that people needed up to 4 hours for everything so that was a bit shocking. Was considering a day trip from JB to Singapore when I'm traveling around Malaysia next year but that border crossing seems too time consuming unfortunately

      Actually if you top up your tourist pass with money you can use it as reg ezlink to take CW buses. I tried it few days ago

      Oh, so the tourist passes can also function as a regular stored value ezlink card.

      Hi, according to the website i think you can’t as it might fall under niche bus services in the terms and conditions. But you can double with the seller on the usage restrictions for the pass for public bus that enter Johor such as 160,170,950.

      Once your pass expired it will become regular ez link, you can top it up like the regular one and use it

      Hi, from what we saw, the causeway link bus does have wheelchair ramp access. If they don’t provide the service you can check out the public bus 170 that goes to Woodlands checkpoint, operated by SBS transit with wheelchair access.
