To Orchard Road at Xmas time!!! ( LoL)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we ARE feeling it too guys! Hope you are all well and in the holiday spirits already.....
For this year, since we are able to finally travel out of the country (with no complicated procedure) - we decided that we will go to Singapore to see and feel the beauty of Christmas time again. It will be a great experience and eye opener for our kids as Christmas has been pretty somber for the past years due to lockdown. As always..... Orchard Road Singapore did not disappoint!! Yay! Christmas lights & music everywhere we went....man...it feels so good! We were definitely 'Happy Family"! (BIG smile!)
In this video, we showed a pretty detailed vlog on how we took the train from JB Sentral in Johor Bharu to Singapore. It was a good experience for first-timers like us and we found the whole journey to be easy, convenient and CHEAP! hehehe.... So, if you're curious, I highly recommend you watch the entire video so you can make this an option should you decide to go to Singapore one day.

Thanks for showing me a new way to go into Singapore.I have been going in by express bus directly from KL and once I got trapped in Immigration for 3.25 hours.The original bus had already departed & I was terrified & horrified.But luckily got on to another same company bus (Transtar) and got down at Golden Mile Tower.
Hi! Lee Hock..Thank you for watching and sharing your experience with us. To be stuck for 3 1/2 hours at Immigration is a NIGHTMARE! If you got kids with you even worse 😖 That’s why when we tried this method, it’s by far the most budget friendly & hassle-free way to get to SG. To clear SG Immigration at Woodlands CIQ took us only about 15-20 mins. Going back was even faster :) Glad this video we made was helpful in some way 🙌🏻

I want to inform u that from train station to the MRT is called Woodlands MRT station and it is not Causeway Point MRT. Beside Woodlands MRT is the Causeway Point shopping mall 😊
If you are using Woodlands MRT, the are two routes to Orchard MRT station. The Red Line(North-South Line) or Brown Line(Thomson-East Coast Line).
In your video, u were taking the Brown Line(Thomson-East Coat Line) which goes underground the whole journey. But...if u take the Red Line(North-South line) the MRT will go both underground and above so that u can also see SG HDB flats and our neighbourhood surroundings too before the MRT go underground ok.
Have fun and enjoy visiting SG. U won't get lost as long u take MRT to travel around SG. But if you do get lost, just go to the MRT station or Bus Interchange find the 'Passenger Service Centre or Office' the staff on duty will help u 😊

You can purchase it from most MRT Stations, transport hub centres, 7-elevens & even at some Shell petrol stations
It's a 5 min ride on the train, why don't they run it like a subway with standing room? Try to get a ticket on a weekend, I'm told you need to get tickets 3 weeks in advance. We tried last Sunday and they were sold out. Apparently a lot of Singaporeans cross over on the weekends.
Guess for them, ‘if it ain’t broken, why fix it?’ Hehehe….. It’s probably a cost thingy - perhaps in the waaaay far future it’ll happen✌🏻 And yea, the tickets issue is something they should seriously look into. Last min / spontaneous trips can never happen because of this problem. Thanks for leaving a comment btw - it was nice to hear from you! :)
Is there any car or motorcycle park around the station if i want to use the train to sg from jb?. If any how much price for a day?
Hi adele. Not sure about that because we parked at the hotel itself & walked to the station… (our previous video on Fives Hotel JB). Am sure there are parking facilities nearby but you have to google about it…

I think as long as your local bank knows before hand that u will be travelling there… might want to call them & double check👍🏼

Manual only when at SG side for Malaysians.

When we went thru customs no one asked us if we had anything to declare. But to be more certain… I do suggest you check with their official website or google about it.

Pastikan anda mengaktifkan kad debit anda dahulu dengan bank…untuk kegunaan luar negara.
Exchange rate bank biasanya lebih tinggi kalau dibandingkan dengan tempat penukaran wang asing ( money exchange )
